The Vail Valley Theatre Company re-ignited my love of musical theatre and the performing arts. It has stretched my creative muscles and pushed me to my comfort zone while learning new acting, dance, and improv skills. I'm so happy to be part of this wonderful group, both on and off stage, and can't wait to see what they come up with next.
The VTTC has been an awesome addition to our community. Not only do they put on full live productions with local talent, they increased their educational offerings to include improv workshops, theatrical dance classes, and take part in local events like the July 4th parade (2nd place prize for best nonprofit float!) and the Vail Community Picnic (1st place prize for best costumes!). The VVTC of today is so much more than just a fun night out of theatre. Bravo!!
I love this company! I have had so much fun being part of this group and being in shows with them. They are always trying to come up with fresh idea's to include different groups of peoples and keep people entertained. There is so much to do and so much fun to be had with this company. There is no Vail Valley without the Vail Valley Theater Company!
This theatre company continues to impress with the quality of their productions. True Big City Feel, in intimate small town venues! And now, with an influx of new, vibrant membership, the future is fantastically bright! This group will do great things.
VVTC has been such an amazing part of my life. I went to school for theatre but put it aside in order to pursue a different career. After auditioning for VVTC on a whim, I met an amazing group of people that encouraged me to get back on stage. I've had so much fun with them and am looking forward to our next season!
My first experience with the Vail Valley Theater Company was 20+ years ago performing in The Fantasticks. Since then I have been in more than 20 shows including Man of LaMancha, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Chicago, and Into The Woods. Theater has become a huge part of my life. Even performing with my daughter - as she taught me how to put on eye makeup for the stage. Sharing our love for live theater, forming lifelong friendships, and giving back to our community has been an amazing journey. And I am in awe of the talent we have here in the valley with legit resumes. So much fun and so worth it!
The little theater company that could- and can- deliver great performances on a dime featuring the talent of valley locals. Creative, adaptive, and cleaver, their ability to provide quality shows using donations and sweat is truly remarkable!
It isn’t an exaggeration to say that VVTC changed my life. I’ve met lifelong friends and an incredible community that I’ve never had anywhere else.
The first time I auditioned with the Vail Valley Theatre Company, I didn't know what to expect. Not only did we end up putting on a fabulous, fun, and successful show (with a professional music director and Broadway veteran artistic director nonetheless!), I made a whole new family of theatre-loving friends in the community where I live - people I may not have met otherwise. VVTC has provided the creative outlet I've been missing in my life for the past 10 years as a working Mom and I am so grateful for it! Thank you VVTC for being such a welcoming and enthusiastic group!
