Utah Youth Village does an extraordinary job of helping young people with challenges to understand how to navigate a complicated world. I've seen them achieve nearly miraculous outcomes with kids destined for a bleak future who started earning top grades in school and developing emotional maturity that allows them to succeed in life. Eric Bjorklund and his staff are absolutely top notch.

I was a single mother and needed help with my daughter who struggled with anxiety and depression. Her inability to accept "no" and our struggles with communication sent me to the internet to find help. Luckily, I stumbled upon SmarterParenting.com and was comforted to find out that there was help! I am so grateful that Utah Youth Village exists and their "Teaching Family Model" exists for the struggling parents out there.

Our family(kids ages 11,14,16) was asked to have dinner at one of the foster homes so that the children living there could practice social skills. This was an all girls home. When we arrived the girls all introduced themselves and shook our hands. They were each assigned different jobs like greeting, giving us a tour of the house, etc. Then we had dinner and visited and our youngest played in the yard with a few of the other girls. It was a great experience for our family to be able to see first hand what the Utah Youth Village does and how successful it is at it! We really enjoyed ourselves and the girls seemed to enjoy themselves as well. We would definitely do it again!

I have worked with the Utah Youth Village for over 5 years. I have seen the employees do life changing work with families and children. The model that is used has not only the stories but also the data to support it's effectiveness.
I have personally seen lives transformed and families happier because of the great work done by this amazing organization. The things I have learned and seen while associated with the Utah Youth Village have also transformed my own life.
Wonderful people doing a miraculous work, for those who need it the most! No more important work in life than to help children and families learn skills to stay together and increase their own happiness and love for one another.

I have worked with Utah Youth Village as a Foster/Treatment parent for 11 years now. I've had the privilege of teaching, loving, and learning with over 40 youth over the years. It's amazing watching these kids grow as they learn skills to help them be successful adults. It's such a great feeling to know I am helping children that come from various situations, improve their lives and move forward in positive directions.
I feel blessed to work with an awesome organization to make such a difference in children's lives. Each child is precious to me, each takes a piece of my heart with them when they move on.

I work with community partners all the time and Utah Youth Village is one of the best by far. Their Family First program is an excellent resource to families who need basic skills and help with communication patterns. They run an intensive program that molds tobeac family's needs. We couldn't do our job without them.

Ann and I have been involved in evaluating and supporting dozens of Utah based non profits the past 30 years. While many are amazing and vital contributors to our community, there is no other entity that so radically changes the trajectory of individual lives than the Utah Youth Village. Hundreds of youth each year who have experienced unthinkable abuse and challenges are provided with specific skills required to rebuild their lives. The Village gives the gift of hope to the hopeless. We love seeing the good they do year after year!
