Mission: The purpose of this society shall be to affiliate into one organization the reputable physicians in utah who are engaged in the practice of or otherwise interested in the specialty of anesthesiology; to encourage specialization in this field; to encourage the raising of the standards of this specialty; to disseminate information in regard to anesthesiology; to regulate ethical conduct among the members; to support the enactment of appropriate medical, healthcare and related legislation, particularly as it pertains to the practice of anesthesiology; and in all ways to encourage the further development of the medical specialty of anesthesiology.
Programs: Legislative activity to ensure safe anesthesia care for all patients
scientific meetings providing continuing medical education to anesthesiologists.
