Mission: The corporation is the national governing body for the olympic sports of bobsled and skeleton. It is responsible for fielding teams for national and international competition, including the olympic games. It is also responsible for promoting and improving the sports and developing interest and participation in the united states.
Programs: Men's bobsled - supported the top national team athletes while competing on the 2016-17 world cup tour and at the 2017 world championships. Funded pre and mid-season training programs and bobsled technology development.
women's bobsled - supported top national team athletes while competing on the 2016-17 world cup tour and at the 2017 world championships. Funded pre and mid-season training programs and bobsled technology development.
skeleton - supported top national team athletes while competing on the 2016-17 world cup tour and intercontinental cup tours and at the 2017 world championships. Funded pre and mid-season training programs and skeleton technology development.
other - conducted recruiting camps to identify new athletes; supported membership; held development training programs; and supported new parasport program thru provision of team leader for world cup events and world championships.
