Programs: Ease grant program - overseas vote foundation (ovf) received grants from four states and one county through a program devised by the federal voting assistance program to make the absentee voting process easier and more efficient for military and overseas citizens. Ovf provided online registration tools, election official directories, election research, and hosted websites for new york, minnesota, ohio and okaloosa county, florida and also provided election research for maryland.
hosted systems program - licensing of state-specific voter services websites for alabama, kentucky, ohio, minnesota, new york, and vermont secretary of state offices. This benefits u. S. Overseas and military voters from these states. In addition, one u. S. Corporation separately licensed customized voter services websites under this program.
e2e viv project - a democracy fund grant to seek to produce a framework by which a secure, remote end-to-end voting system may be developed and tested. This framework would be agreed to by computer scientists, election officials and usability professionals. Finally, ovf would provide recommendations for bringing such a system to market under variable circumstances.
Susan and her team have done a fantastic job of making voting easier and safer for so many voters. The tools on the US Vote website provide current civic data and state by state assistance in actually voting. The impact of US Vote far exceeds the resources which are so carefully used to enahnce the mission of making every citizen a voter.
