Mission: The u. S. National oral health alliance provides the platform for a diverse network of stakeholders to forge common ground in order to harness opportunities and create viable solutions for improved oral health through prevention and treatment for vulnerable populations across our country. Alliance partners focus and align efforts to assure optimal oral health for all and build on collective strengths for more effective impact. In the alliance, each partner preserves its own identity and lends its expertise to issues the alliance has adopted as common to all.

National oral health alliance believe we can make the greatest impact by focusing on the following six priority areas, which were developed by a diverse group of stakeholders and adopted by the alliance. - prevention and public health infrastructurepopulation-based prevention strategies to strengthen the public health infrastructure. -oral health literacydevelop and disseminate evidence-based, culturally-competent tools and campaigns to increase the oral health literacy of diverse populations. -medical and dental collaborationexpand the number and types of health professionals providing preventive oral health services and engaging in cross-disciplinary training programs. -metrics for improving oral healthimplement a robust system of objective and reliable measurements. -financing modelsdesign and evaluate public-private financing models that promote optimal oral health. -strengthening the dental care delivery system advance dental delivery systems that promote population health, including a well-trained, diverse dental workforce.
