Was previously a client here. Took me to long to get housing. I did more work than they did. Had alot of case managers. None were that helpful.

Urban Pathways Saved my life. I was sleeping on the floor of the subway and they came and rescued me.
If I could I'd give them 100 stars.
I have my own bathroom !!!! So much better than sharing a bathroom in a shelter.

I am no longer homeless or unstable a lot due to my housing at urban pathways. Your services also helped me get into Howie the Harp and I am now a practicing peer specialist. I love the location and have put down roots in the area so the only thing that would be better is for urban pathways to build permanent housing in Astoria. I am attending the advocacy meetings at Hallets Cove and in the main office this summer to work on a petition and a letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio. Thanks so much, Pearl L.

I began working with Urban Pathways about year ago and since then my life has changed in positive ways. I have a become part of an agency the works towards helping vulnerable individuals achieve their goals. The mission behind Urban Pathways, "housing first" approach is one that has helped thousands of homeless and mentally ill New Yorkers obtain a warm place to live. That alone as an employee of Urban Pathways has enriched my own life as I know each day I am working for an agency that is serving the communities in New York and helping improve the lives of so many vulnerable individuals . The agency's mission is served with much integrity and is very client-centered. Employees of Urban Pathways feel respected and supported in order for them to achieve their clients goals and ensure these clients can once again be integrated into society. That being said, I am a huge advocate of the work that is done each day at Urban Pathways and hope to continue serving this agency and adhering to its standard and mission.

My experience with Urban Pathways has been such a phenomenal one compared to living on the streets and being homeless. I wondered where I was going to sleep from time to time. It is such a blessing to have my own kitchen now to cook in, instead of having to stand in line at the soup kitchens. It was a process entering Urban Pathways. I did everything that was needed to be done to get my apartment and I am so thankful for the roof over my head. It is unexplainable. And, I honestly have to thank Mr. Hilton Douglas for his patience and determination in doing the work that was needed for this process. I am so very grateful to him and am humbled and have been throughout my whole ordeal. I now live in peace and serenity. Thanks to Urban Pathways

Urban Pathways is under investigation by HRA for fraud, after it illegally changed the terms of apartment lease agreements that were signed with Lisa Lombardi of Urban Pathways on 2/16/16 at DHS's office at 33 Beaver Street in Manhattan. Urban Pathways also committed forgery by stapling a photocopy from an apartment lease agreement signed by a prospective tenant to an illegally modified lease agreement that was never signed by that prospective tenant.
Urban Pathways allowed a tenant to be assaulted by a roommate on 7/2/16, after one of its workers physically restrained that assailant on 5/12/16 in the same room where the 7/2/16 assault occurred in an Urban Pathways building. Its workers have also been known to illegally & repeatedly trespass into the apartments of tenants without granting prior notice. Urban Pathways or a closely affiliated entity has received a mortgage from Valley National Bank valued in excess of $3 Million for an apartment building in which it has repeatedly been issued violations by HPD, whose web site presently lists the apartment building as not being validly registered with it. Urban Pathways also repeatedly turned off water in its apartment building without giving a tenant prior notice and illegally intercepted mail that was sent by certified mail and from a New York City District Attorney.

Urban Pathways Inc. has CHARITY status, but they are not charitable to their clients. They are in fact, prejudiced against the Disabled, and regard them as pests. As a landlord, they could not be a worse oppressor of the disadvantaged people they "serve".In fact, they only serve to hand out tax breaks to their backers (Wall St).Charity? They are a Corporate Slumlord.
