Programs: Housing: our housing group is presently consumed with foreclosure and default counseling which includes loan modification and foreclosure mitigation work, however as a hud certified agency we offer pre-purchase group and one on one counseling hecm/reverse mortgage counseling, budget, credit, and financial literacy counseling in group workshops and one to one sessions. As an agency we are rooted in the major financial decline assisting clients daily. Our housing area serves several hundred households per year. In our current fiscal year we have surpassed our expected goals and continue to meet the demands of todays housing and credit crisis.
dyfs - our education and youth area presently is offering an sat preparatory program in partnership with a few select community organizations delivering a full service 8 week instructional program to high school juniors and seniors in critical reading/writing and mathematics. workforce development: our workforce development group features full cycle career counseling. We offer resume writing, interview preparation and coaching, and job placement/recruiting services. We are presently designing a job/work readiness training course and computer literacy course which we will partner with other neighboring organizations.
