Mission: To create and retain manufacturing jobs in philadelphia neighborhoods through a comprehensive strategy that strengthens businesses and builds relationships between manufacturers and their community.
Programs: Urban industry initiative (uii) seeks to empower urban manufacturing and through it, begin a new kind of reinvestment in philadelphia's neighborhoods. Uii attempts to find new and more successful approaches to keeping urban manufacturing companies from leaving the city of philadelphia and along with them, thousands of neighborhood jobs.
