Mission: UpsideDown Moments (UDM), strives to provide clothing and basic household items to the youth of Loudoun County and surrounding areas.
Children, newborn through 17 years of age, who are placed into foster care are moved quickly and many times only arrive with the clothes on their back. It is during these moments of their lives they need to experience some normalcy, as everything ordinary has been turned upside down.
Young adults, who have aged out of foster care, ages 18-21 years, have a different need, one for household items, as they begin their new life adventure, and set up their first "home".
It is UpsideDown Moments' goal to assist both groups of foster youth in meeting their basic needs, and in doing so, improving their self-confidence and well-being until their lives are upside right once again!
Results: 158 children assisted

This organization has been instrumental in helping me care for my foster children. We have received clothing, toiletries, and toys for the children in our care. Everything has been neatly presented, and condition often seems brand new. They are immediately responsive to my requests for support. They always go above and beyond the requested help and treat each child as a special gem.
I have volunteered for Upside Down Moments more than a few times, and have seen with my own eyes how this non-profit organization has helped many children in their moment of need!! A big thanks to Becky for following her heart and founding Upside Down Moments, a beautiful addition to the community and beyond ☺️
We are foster parents in Loudoun county and have had several placements where kids have shown up with nothing but the clothes on their back. Upside down moments has been there each and every time, providing immediate support for these kids and our family. They are a true blessing.
I am so thankful to have this charity in Loudoun County. They do such a great service to children in our county who could otherwise be marginalized or forgotten. They help us remember and enable us to donate money or items to hopefully ease this uncertain time in a child’s life.
They do such a great job of sharing needs with their community so we can all find a way to serve children. Many of my friends have been able to donate supplies as well so more children and families can be served quickly.
