Programs: General education and support - the organization aims to provide tools and resources to support the dignity and fair treatment of immigrant youth and families, regardless of immigration status. The organization runs programs for the support of access to higher education, to stop deportations of undocumented youth and their parents, and to strengthen alliances and support for dreamers.
deferred action/own the dream - the organization helps aspiring americans brought to this country as children take advantage of the opportunity to apply for deferred action for childhood arrivals (daca) and work permits. The program offers assistance to a significant number of the hundreds of thousands of dreamers eligible for this opportunity to stay in america to complete their education and contribute to the economy.
new mexico dream team-as a sponsored project of uwdn, the new mexico dream team (nmdt) engages immigrant youth and families throughout the state of new mexico in leadership development for community capacity building, civic engagement, research policy, curriculum building and organizing tactics.
