Programs: Uwmc promotes charitable giving by facilitating philanthropy at all levels. United way strategically invests donor dollars locally to achieve community-wide goals in the areas of school readiness, early literacy, healthcare access, financial stability, and basic needs.
United Way of Mesa County runs a great fund distribution process and really is working to help the nonprofits in Mesa County. The staff as a whole does strive to make a difference and offers a lot to the community.
The reason why I give it a three is because the current Development Director is burning bridges with the business community.
