The USTF has done so since 1989. To enhance the lives of veterans, their families and their pets thru various programs that will help with the emotional burden and trauma of their service. To provide grants, transport, and other support as needed. To facilitate and advocate for veterans and those in need. The c (19) designation is most specific and focused to support veterans and must be comprised percentage wise of veterans) The USTF serves as a beacon of ALL overlooked by history, time, or circumstance. The USTF and its members "Can Do" ethos is in keeping with its motto of " That Others May Be Honored" . The USTF will continue to honor, support and serve our veterans and community through new medals, new programs, and new projects to help enrich their lives, and to enrich the communities they live in.

The United States Tiger Foundation (USTF) stands as a remarkable organization, embodying a profound commitment to honoring the sacrifices made throughout history. Beyond preserving the memory of those who fell during the WWII Exercise Tiger, they extend their gratitude towards the unwavering dedication of both active-duty service members and veterans alike. I've worked with US Exercise Tiger Foundation since 2013. USETF is a valuable organization to both past and present veterans. They keep the memory a live of the 749 Sailors Soldiers that died on 28 April 1944 as they were preparing for the Normandy Invasion. Due the secrecy of the mission, knowledge of this tragedy wasn't known until the 1970s and 1980s.

Additionally, USETF honors past veterans through ceremonies. I've participated in several ceremonies recognizing WWII, Korean and Vietnam veterans for their service. Most recently at an event in Columbia, MO honoring Vietnam veterans during the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.

Finally, USETF recognizes current military members for their service. Every year they host a banquet and honor 15+ Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines from active, National Guard, and reserve forces. This is a wonderful event that makes you proud to be an American.

You can read the list of purposes of the United States Exercise Tiger Foundation, and you might find something that especially appeals to you. I am drawn to work with USETF to "serve as the foundation to commemorate the forgotten "Battle of Exercise Tiger", and the education of the public that comes with that purpose. I would never minimize the other goods accomplished by the organization, but the public should always know that it is ordinary people who sacrifice in war, that ordinary people are lost in accidents, that become conflicts. We ought never forget our past, and how local that past really is, if we are to act wisely in the future. We do that by serving as the foundation to remind the public of the Battle of Exercise Tiger.

I had been vaguely aware of USETF over some years, as I was interested in the history lesson they offered on the chaos of war, while the Foundation also extended a helping hand to veterans finding their way to the Tiger office, and giving recognition to those who, for all their reasons, chose to serve in America's Armed Forces. About a year ago, mostly by accident, I met the officers of the Foundation, who learned I am a veteran and asked whether I'd be available to assist them at various functions. The executive director summarized their purpose: Not to celebrate war, but to acknowledge the sacrifice of those who've risked it, who made themselves available, to celebrate them. I think much motivation for this comes out of the very unhappy, unresolved end to our war in Vietnam, which affects us to these times. The United States Exercise Tiger Foundation has something of a "therapeutic" purpose, to assure veterans they are not forgotten, and to say to others that they should remember as well. I am happy to help the Foundation in its efforts.

The CEO & National Director, Susan, and the Chief of Staff & PAO, Walt, are two of the kindest people I have ever met. They welcomed me with literal open arms and gave me their entire attention. The passion Walt has and the care Susan has combine to make a team that I trust entirely. Their work is selfless and a tribute to Veterans. It was an honor to know them and a privilege to call them my friends.

They just helped the Homeless with blankets and MRE's in Mid Mo as well as other support.
They do a lot, with less. But the USTF as they are known is a great organization.
The photo's are a few years old but the USTF honored vets from Korea to Afghanistan in California. The cat in photo is "Tara" the hero cat from the viral video that saved a little boy from a dog back in 2013 or 14. The USTF gave the cat its "Blue Tiger" award which is for military K-9's but they used a waiver and gave it to this great cat!!! What a great organization. Susan Haines is the Executive Director and is in the photo's.

The United States Exercise Tiger Foundation is a very professional organization that continually recognizes Veterans and our service members for their excellence and contributions as well as preserving history's educational awareness of Exercise Tiger's fateful Silent D-Day Link of World War II. The cloak of that "Secret" exercise event is being shared. Many thanks to you folks for all that you do!!!

I have been involved with the United States Exercise Tiger Foundation for many years now. When I say “involved” I mean that I have had the honor of volunteering and have been a recipient of one of their awards for my past service in the Army.
I am involved with them because I have never witnessed a more dedicated, focused, and effective group of people dedicated to the support and recognition of my fellow military personnel.
The USTF holds an Adopt-A-Warrior banquet every November and is one of the best events in our city! It is truly one of a kind in our country!
This dedicated, hardworking organization deserves donations of our time and treasures to support those who support us!

Exercise tiger puts forth the determination and confidence in our military to support them and their active duty service man, service women, and our service canine, and all Veteran status. For the things that they have accomplished and do for the community and our country, as a veteran it is a great honor to be a part of this organization. The tiger Foundation honors our Warriors from all stages of military activity with respect and dignity to our great United States of America.
God Bless the USA.

They just gave out 300 blankets and MREs packs to both shelters and homeless in Mid Mo. They were on KOMU TV. They did a great job for a good cause. They just did this on February 9th I think. They do a lot more than just honor Vets, they help them and the community. Feb 2024.

The United States Exercise Tiger Foundation is a highly regarded NGO by all military branches and elected officials. THIS is the non profit that is recognized by the Secretary of The Navy as the annual National Commemoration Foundation that honors the "Battle of Exercise Tiger" each year on April 28. They have done this for some 30 plus years now. They also do great things for Missouri veterans and community like thier Operation Sgt Rosie's Lifejackets for Vets and Pets ( over 300 lifejackets given got vets in 3 years) Their Blankets for Vets got some 200 blankets donated and given to area homeless shelters as well as veterans who called for them. They also have a free pet food program and give out 1000lbs or more annually free of course to vets and community.
From TV news coverage, Sgt Rosie looks on as vets and officials give veterans free lifejackets.SGT Rosie gets US Army Award Citation from 94th K9 Detachment from Ft Leonard Wood Mo. For her Distinguished Actions supporting veterans and their Pets. When I saw SGT Rosie in the Mid Missouri newspaper, The Missourian, and her asking to donate blankets, I melted. And of course donated new blankets for her and the USTFs blanket drive last winter.
They are a credible and recognized charity. I highly endorse them.

The USTF just did two great things for the community. They provided blankets and MREs to homeless in Mid Mo and pet beds too. That was Feb 10/11th. Then on Valentine's Day they gave out FREE haircuts to veterans and members of the national guard at a local hair salon called the Captains Quarter's in downtown Columbia. They are a small foundation that's does great things. Here are some photos from TV at the hair salon. SGT Rosie the USTF K 9 and therapy dog was there as well. Over a dozen vets got their hair trimmed. And medals for their service to!

This organization also known as USTF in short hand is terrific. I received a grant of $40 from them to pay my gas bill.
They also sponsor the Blankets For Vets program and have given out like 200 or more last few years.
They do great things for veterans and thier families. If your gonna donate, donate to them. They also are the official foundation that honors the forgotten Tiger battle and honors vets ( see photos from TV and newspaper) They do things when others can't or don't...."Can Do"...is their motto.....

I know of Exercise Tiger through Susan Haines. I have watched the organization seize every opportunity to assist veterans, promote appreciation of their sacrifices, and express appreciation for their service. Exercise Tiger worked with many local organizations to distribute COVID masks to veterans, and reached out to other communities when the local population of veterans had been supplied with masks. Veterans are the the sole priority for Exercise Tiger members, and they maximize their reach through public media to heighten awareness of the needs of those veterans. Terry Weston, Columbia MO

I have been involved with USTF for many years and continue to be so impressed with the dedication and drive that this team has for remembering past sacrifices but also current accomplishments and dedicated service by those who are currently serving in uniform. I have appreciated the recognition that I've received personally but more importantly helping to recommend and honor others and assist when possible. I plan to continue to support and encourage others to remember, get to know, and engage with Exercise Tiger as a tragic incident during WWII but also as a Foundation who cares and supports others so passionately!

I have known this organization for 15 years. They have honored our active duty military from all branches and veterans from across the nation, from California to New York! My husband was one of the adopt a warrior recipients in 2003. He was a MSGT in the USAF. The ceremony where he received his awards was held at the Governor's Mansion in Jefferson City MO. It was truly a most honorable ceremony and recognition for his services. My husband put his life on the line for his country and his fellow troops. He received an Airman's Medal, for his actions in combat zone. If anyone can contribute to this organization you wont be disappointed

I have been aware of USTF for many years. I have volunteered a few times in years past. About a year and a half ago I connected again with this outstanding organization that honors those that serve our country.
I have become a lot more involved. USTF supports all members, past and present, of the armed forces.
The organization is active in remembrances of all the major and minor military holidays with wreath laying ceremonies. They Host an Adopt a Warrior program annually. They also commemorate The Exercise Tiger operation leading up to D-Day.
As a past military person, I appreciate the effort and thought that they put into every event that they conduct.

I have volunteered with the Exercise Tiger Foundation in small ways. They celebrate active and retired military personnel with the manner and respect the soldiers deserve. USTF also does service projects; for example, distributing masks to veterans.

They carefully and creatively use their resources to pay tribute to soldiers and veterans in honor of those who perished in Exercise Tiger.

I have worked as a volunteer with the United States Exercise Tiger Foundation (USTF) for several years and have seen first hand how passionate they are about recognizing/supporting, not only our active duty military, military K-9s and our veterans, but also those individuals and organizations across the US that go above and beyond to support the military and others in extreme circumstances. Each year they seek out additional ways to recognize those that secure our liberties and homeland. This year, in addition to annual activities, they held an official welcome home for our Vietnam veterans, something that was long overdue! Funding for USTF is limited and every dollar is put to good use. If you're looking for a way to recognize our veterans and those currently serving our country look no further. 100% of your donation will go to recognize those that deserve our recognition!

US Exercise Tiger Foundation does a great job of recognizing our veterans and active duty military, including Military K-9s. Recently, the USTF spearheaded an effort to get a retired officer inducted into a college ROTC Hall of Fame. They did it! They are passionate about recognizing our troops and all our veterans. USTF has made special efforts to recognize and welcome home our Vietnam veterans. Over the past few years I've had the pleasure of volunteering with them and see first hand how hard they work to support and recognize our nations troops. Funding for this organization is limited, so if you are looking for a great nonprofit to donate to, USTF would be a great choice. They really work hard to recognize and thank those that do so much for all of us.

My review is short. I was once one of those adopted warriors .
I am a retired MSgt. from the USAF, combat disabled.
The United States Tiger Foundation (USTF), much like the Wounded Warrior Project, is designed to positivity engage the military member. USTF concentrates in military member recognition and healing from the inside.
I give this organization 5 stars hands down.
To all my friends and vets, please donate to the USTF. Our brave military warriors deserve some positive recognition and healing.

This prestigious organization has honored our Nation's military and veterans for over 30 years.
It is most commendable for the USTF to also partner with the Department of Defense and recognize thousands of Vietnam Veterans who are celebrating their 50 year anniversary. Today's warriors are being honored for their valor and sacrifice. On Friday Nov.9th the USTF will host its 20th National Adopt a Warrior Banquet and awards weekend in Columbia. Even a Army Combat K-9 will be honored. Yes, a 4 legged warrior gets honored for its service to our nation. They bring in something like 11 or 12 active duty troops from ALL branches and are hosted for 24 hours. The National Adopt A Warrior Program is 'one of its kind' in the nation and held right here in Missouri. If you can, please donate to them. And pass their info on. Our warriors deserve this special program.

This non-profit gets 4 stars from me hands down. Since 1989 they have honored over 5000 veterans and troops. They have over 36 different awards and several medals to honor our nations veterans and troops. They never charge any vet or active duty member for the medals or awards.
Thier awards and honors mean a lot to those who get them. I know, my dad got the Medal of Combat Valor from the USTF.
If you want to donate to a worthy non-profit and one that really needs the help and recognized by the Dept of Defense, Navy, Congress etc., then, please donate to them.
Thanks
