Programs: The foundation serves united methodist churches, agencies, and members in the following ways: provide investment management services to local churches, agencies, and boards; work with local churches to assist in developing, promoting, and managing their own endowment program; provide educational seminars on stewardship, planned giving, wills, estate planning, and related subjects; assist individual members in developing a giving plan for their accumulated assets; provide administrative services for donors making deferred gifts to their church or church related agency; serve as trustee and administer trusts established for the benefit of the church; manage and administer umfi's endowment funds and distribute earnings; operate the indiana united methodist loan fund to assist united methodist churches and agencies in financing capital improvements for their ministries.
