Mission: United Inner City Services (UICS) is carrying out its mission of “Building Bridges. Inspiring Minds. Impacting Futures.” through three early childhood education centers across the Kansas City metropolitan area: St. Mark Child & Family Development Center (UICS-St. Mark Center; northeast Kansas City), Metro Child & Family Development Center (UICS-Metro Center; midtown Kansas City), and North Child & Family Development Center (UICS-North Center; Pleasant Valley, MO). UICS is recognized as one of Kansas City’s leading early learning programs. Highly-trained faculty utilize a project-based curriculum in an arts-infused environment to teach students ages six weeks to five years old.
