Mission: United health foundation is a not-for-profit corporation formed to provide support to united hospital center, inc. (uhc) to improve health status for the residents of north central west virginia through contributions and exempt activities.

contributions for peoples hospice are collected and distributed to united hospital center, inc. Peoples hospice offers care and support to patients with terminal illness and their loved ones. During 2014, peoples hospice had 23,258 days of service.
camp catch your breath is a state wide asthma camp for children ages 8 to 13 promoting the development of self-management skills. Approximately 60 children participate each year at jackson's mill in lewis county, wv. Daily educational sessions include medical management, camping activities, sports, arts and crafts, and other various forms of entertainment for the children.
