Causes: Public Finance, Taxation & Monetary Policy
Mission: To educate and enlighten citizens about the impact of state and federal economic policies on the state of missouri.
Programs: Ufmf made presentations to various groups around the state providing educational information regarding tax reform efforts in missouri. The majority of presentations were made to grassroots groups and civic organizations. Ufmf also provided several informational presentations to missouri legislators and staff.
ufmf made presentations to groups and at conferences to a broad spectrum of groups across the state on fiscal policy issues and state and local government activities. Groups ranged from political clubs to local chamber of commerce groups. The presentations included a number of press interviews (print, radio and tv), as well as op-eds that were published around the state.
ufmf participated in educating missourians on the impact of their personal data being illegally shared by the state. Ufmf conducted several educational meetings on what was occurring and what actions the legislature and others in state government were taking on the issue.
