Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health & Crisis Intervention
Mission: To provide substance abuse counseling along with evaluation and treatment services.
Programs: United connections counseling currently has three contracts with the department of family protective services which cover eleven counties across south texas. Our licensed counselors are sub-contracted to perform substance abuse counseling along with evaluation and treatment services. To date, over 200 clients have benefited from our services and we have kept an over ninety point evaluation during fifteen quarters of service. Coastal plains community center has also contracted our services for clients with co-occurring disorders in the cities of alice, falfurrias, kingsville and beeville.
