Programs: In 2016, UCF saw a need for mental and behavioral health services in Southern Nevada. Our first School-Based clinic was opened in the fall at Valley High School. Since that time, United Citizens Foundation has been focused on providing access to mental and behavioral health and substance abuse services on Clark County School District (CCSD) Campuses. The School-Based therapists are available to students on five Clark County School District campuses. The services UCF offers, can be accessed by students whenever they are experiencing a crisis. Students undergoing a mental health emergency such as suicidal ideation, behavioral issues, parent/child conflict, difficulty adjusting to peer relational issues such as bullying, and alcohol and substance abuse are supported and addressed by a licensed therapist. UCF offers Teletherapy for all clients in Nevada, especially now during the COVID19 pandemic. Services can also be in person if the client chooses at our two offsite locations. (4485 S. Buffalo Drive or 2048 North Las Vegas Blvd.) All safety protocols and social distancing are being used for in person sessions. UCF provides services with no out of pocket cost to the client.
