Causes: Birth Defects & Genetic Diseases, Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Education, Group Homes, Health, Human Services, Special Education
Programs: Residential services: provide a home-like environment to 78 adults with severe disabling conditions in nine group homes. Oversee medical care and activities of daily living while promoting independence and community inclusion.
adult day services: teaching skills which enable adults to be more independent in their use of community resources. Participants develop travel and money-handling skills, and volunteer at various community sites such as parks and senior centers. Speech, physical and occupational therapies are provided as needed.
children's center services: provides educational and treatment services to children from early childhood through age 21. Enables children aged 3-5 with severe disabilities to transition to public school systems.
