Mission: The United Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. We aid in providing screening, treatment, after-care, educational material, patient and family assistance and information. UBCF provides grants to hospitals and community health centers to benefit patients and families coping with breast cancer. We strive to alleviate the stress and strain that cancer can cause to patients and families and to foster health and well-being through both traditional and holistic treatments by never denying anyone service regardless of age, race, gender or income. The Purpose: To make a positive difference in the lives of those afflicted with or affected by breast cancer. The Business: Providing grants to hospitals and community centers to benefit patients and family’s with breast cancer and helpful assistance and information to the current breast cancer patient. The Values: Easing the stress and strain that cancer can cause a patient and their families, health and wellness

Programs: Community service programs:ubcf supports your community by increasing awareness of breast health and wellness through educational campaigns, distributing gift in kind donations and partnering with other charitable organizations to further extend ubcf's mission.
education and awareness:ubcf educates the public and increases general awareness of breast cancer and related topics through regular education campaigns. We distribute educational material including information on breast health, breast cancer, early detection, a call to action to get your annual breast screening and to tell 3 people you know and love to be sure to get their breast screening. By educating the public on a variety of issues ranging from prevention and early detection to treatment options, wellness services and ubcf's unique patient & family programs, ubcf is ensuring that the public remain informed and aware of breast cancer facts, the affects of breast cancer on a patient and their family members, how breast cancer can be treated as well as how to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle in an effort to prevent breast cancer.
individual grants:the individual grant program is a unique and special program, a trail blazer of sorts. Created in 2007 with the intention of financially assisting women and men who are managing breast cancer, this program offers customized support geared towards each individuals personal needs and circumstances. Grants are primarily financial; however, ubcf is working towards incorporating donated products and services directly to our clients. Currently, the individual grant program provides financial support for the following types of expenses: medical procedures, prescription medications, cobra insurance coverage, housing expenses, utilities, prosthetic devices, therapeutic treatments, transportation expenses, domestic services, healthy and nutritious foods and holiday gifts. By the nature of the program, we are able to assist our clients with needs that are not covered by other more conventional programs.
