Mission: The united arc will lead in forging a society that values, respects, includes, and recognizes the contribution of community members with disabilities. The united arc is committed to ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have full access to systems and opportunities that uphold human rights, enhance growth and wellbeing, offer choice and promote full inclusion in society. This mission is carried out by providing services, advocacy, identifying resources and creating community partnerships.
Programs: Adult services support and individualized assistance to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities designed around each person's needs, abilities and living and working preferences.
family support provides a full array of flexible services to support families and students in special education programs.
positive parenting provides in home training and support to families focusing on the areas of child development, education, household organization, habits of healthy living and the larger social service field.
