Had a great time volunteering during extended lunch hour at Chevron to pack undie bags. So glad to learn about this great organization.
Undies for Everyone is a fabulous non-profit that’s developed a locally successful and respected program with the hopes of expanding. Both professionals and individual families sing the organization’s praises. Undies adapted and pivoted during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey to support people of all ages who had been impacted by the storm.

Undies has been a fabulous part of the non-profit landscape in Houston. I serve as an elected school board trustee here in Houston as well as an Undies Board Member. I have seen their impact on our schools first hand. Nurses in our elementary and middle schools start the year with stocked with undies and have an opportunity to restock mid-year. They will tell you first hand how reassuring it is to have these on hand. I've watched the organization grow and expand their reach over the years. The founder and executive director, Rabbi Amy Weiss, has been able to communicate her vision with enthusiasm and execute it successfully having a direct impact on Houston's neediest kids.
Undies for Everyone is an integral part of the Houston community by providing a unique and necessary service to students in need and meaningful volunteer opportunities to community members. The executive director is dynamic and driven with a strong vision that inspires people to be get involved. Most importantly, Undies for Everyone's distinct focus on ensuring student success and dignity during the elementary and middle school years is a mission that everyone should support.
This organization has worked tirelessly to help children in Houston. UFE provides underwear directly to children who need it the most, at a time when they need it most.
The director of this organization is so driven! She works tirelessly to get the most out of every single dollar donated. Undies for Everyone is special because they have low overhead, and they only do ONE thing....supplying new, clean underwear to school children in low-income neighborhoods and schools. And also supplying the nurses in those schools with new, clean underwear as well. Still considered a "new" non-profit, Undies for Everyone has managed to grow tremendously in its first few years, providing up to 5 pairs of underwear for thousands of school children. It's a very simple thing, but provides a feeling of dignity and self-worth for these kids.
Undies for Everyone is a great nonprofit that benefits thousands of children. Their gifts of underwear help take pressure off the backs of people who need it most - school nurses, working parents, and CPS workers to name a few. Many organizations give away books and school supplies to underprivileged children, but for a child it can be hard to focus on school if they do not have the basic necessities like clean underwear. Undies tries to help boost children's confidence through the gift of new underwear. They're a great organization and I'm happy to be volunteering with them.
I am so proud to be associated with this organization. Amy Weiss has done a fantastic job of identifying a need--children who miss school because they don't have underwear--and finding a way to fill it. With great passion and enthusiasm, she has built an amazing organization from the ground up, one that has literally changed the lives of countless children. Weiss has met with underwear suppliers, school district administrators, community leaders, and hundreds of volunteers, inspiring them to join her in the fight to keep kids in school. Who knew clean underwear could make such a difference? Amy did, and did something bold about it! Kudos to her and Undies for Everyone!
My family and I really enjoy volunteering with Undies for Everyone. We have fun packing underwear and love knowing it is helping our community.
Undies for Everyone is a wonderful non-profit organization. My family and I have enjoyed volunteering and being a part of a positive impact in the Houston community.
I have known the director of this non-profit for over a decade. She is an amazing woman who has found a unique and personal way to reach out to some of Houston's less fortunate. By helping supply clean, new underwear, she is discretely supporting the self-worth of thousands of children in our community. This is an amazing organization and I am proud to be able to volunteer with them.
ChristChurch Presbyterian provides space for UFE and hosts volunteer events. We love being part of such a wonderful agency that is truly committed to serving children in need.
Undies for Everyone is an amazing non profit and a great community partner in Houston! They are changing the lives of children and making sure each child's experience at school is the best possible! I enjoy working with them on varies projects and I am continually impressed by this organization and its efforts to reach as many children as possible! Truly a great cause!
I really never understood how much of a need exists in this space until I stumbled upon Undies for Everyone. The majority of us take for granted something as simple as a new pair of underwear but UFE identifies how many underprivileged families exist in Houston and the fact that many of them simply cannot provide basic necessities for their children. It's important to instill confidence in our youth at the beginning of the school year and thanks to the contributions of Undies for Everyone our kids are starting off the year on the right foot.
Undies for Everyone is an excellent community partner in Houston! They are truly changing the lives of the kids that they serve, one tushy at a time, and I have been proud to work with them in a variety of ways. From private fundraisers, to supporting them in the Hot Undies Run, they are also so appreciative of even the "small" donations. Their passion comes through with everything that they do and I look forward to more opportunities to work with Undies for Everyone.
My organization, BEAR...BE A Resource for CPS Kids were the grateful recipients of underwear that we included in our Back to School Program. At the beginning of every school year we provide new uniforms, school supplies and backpacks. For the first time, because of Undies for Everyone, we included underwear donated by this non-profit. CPS caseworkers were thrilled to get this needed addition for children on their caseloads. This benefit cut down on the amount of time it takes to go to a supply room to get underwear and enables them (the caseworker) to have more time to do the important work they are charged with.
Undies For Everyone has definitely opened my eyes to a very basic need that often gets overlooked. Providing students with brand new, clean underwear is so valuable in that it builds their self-esteem and sets them up for success during their school years and beyond. I am thrilled with the work UFE is doing in the Houston area to get disadvantaged students this essential item so that they can start the new school year with confidence.
Undies for Everyone really makes a difference in the Houston area. I am continually impressed by this organization and its efforts to reach disadvantaged students.
Underwear has never been at the top of my list when I think about what underprivileged children need--but, working with Undies for Everyone has changed they way I think! Amy Weiss realized this need just a few years ago, and I am amazed at how many children have been helped in such a short time.
My kids and some of their friends have enjoyed helping sort and pack underwear during the UFE packing parties. And, personally, I have a great time helping at the Hot Undies Run. The runners' costumes are great!
I know there are still so many more children who can benefit from what UFE does. And, the group is off to such a great start!
Undies for Everyone is an amazing organization providing the most basic of needs - clean, new underwear - to thousands of school children throughout the greater Houston community. This need is great and it cuts across all lines - regardless of your age, gender, religious beliefs, race or any other factor, we all take for granted having underwear to put on. For children without, it impacts their dignity and self-esteem, making their education more difficult.
Amy Weiss is a passionate, committed Executive Director who has taken a small idea and made it a large effort to help children in our community - as we continue to grow, I am confident more students will be served and more lives changed.
Providing the most absolute basic necessities to those that don't have them is one of the most empowering things anyone can do for those in need. Self esteem intact, kids have such a better likelihood of success in school which is so important. The director and staff are truly passionate about their organization, run it efficiently and I look forward to continue to supporting in ways that I can.
