Causes: Education, Higher Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid, Student Services
Mission: Dedicated to enhancing the cultural and educational experiences of african american and other students through a curriculum and pedagogy responsive to the legacy of the african and african american diasporas.
Programs: Conferences and training programs are held for faculty, students, community college members, regional coordinators, and staff. In 2017 umoja held its annual conference, northern california symposium, southern california symposium, summer learning institute, and winter retreat.
