Mission: To fund, implement, and advocate for water sanitation and hygiene projects benefitting communities throughout uganda. The organization will endeavor to deploy the best available versions of the solutions we implement, reflecting our five core values in our work and relationships integrity, expertise, community, generosity, and agility.
Programs: Funding for drinking water projects in uganda including rainwater collection systems, borehole well rehabitation, and point-of-use water filters for community buildings and household use. Funds were raised and provided to local community leaders in uganda to install 10,000 liter plastic tanks and gutter systems to provide drinking water to communities there. Money was raised from private donors and groups like churches and student clubs.
volunteer trips teams of volunteers are trained and travel to uganda to conduct data collection, presite assessments, and visit the locations of water resources our organization has funded. While in those locations, our teams documented the work that was done, worked with community leaders to identify growth and development opportunities and strategies for their communities, building relationships with local residents.
2nd steps programs funding is provided to help individuals and groups in uganda to develop the stability of their communities through educational enhancement, cultural growth, and small business establishment. Funds are provided to local leaders in uganda to help the members of their community benefit in these areas.

I highly recommend supporting Ugandan Water Project. Their program works to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene resources to communities in Uganda. These solutions empower Ugandans to live the lives they were created for.
As a long time employee of a non profit that has collaborated with them on several water and sanitation projects at schools in Uganda, I can attest to the dedication and impact of their work. The Ugandan Water Project continues to be a valuable partner to us and we hope to continue including them in our program for many years to come!
