With this organisation I managed to hit my future and prior to this , I had lost totally lost n I could not figure out how my future would be . But because of this organisation of God' s I managed at least to hit a point where the world can recorgnise as a person as you can see me here in this photo am an output of Ugandan lambs association n I love u all members of this family God bless u all
As a volunteer for ULA, I am impressed by the spiritual training the children receive and the dedication of the founders and Board of Directors. They have made numerous improvements in the organization over the past year that have streamlined operations and allowed most of the donated funds to be used for programs directly impacting the children.
After attending a fund-raiser in early 2014, my husband and I began sponsoring a 13-year old AIDS orphan. In August of that year, my husband went to Uganda with a Ugandan Lambs Assn USA team to visit the children in their environment and work on some of the facilities projects. He was struck by the quality of care the children receive, physically, educationally, emotionally and spiritually. The "Lambs" are thriving and growing into productive young men and women who are being empowered to give back to their native land, and in some cases, to the Ugandan Lambs organization. So impressed was he both by the needs and the quality care, that he accepted a position on the board of directors. This year, I also was invited and accepted a position on the board. We are committed to serving as long as we are able, to ensure that the organization survives and thrives into the future.
The amount of love this organization has towards the children of Uganda is outstanding. You can tell that every person is very dedicated and committed to making a difference for these children. Well worth the investment!
Ugandan Lambs supports over 70 children in Uganda who would have no hope without the physical, spiritual, and educational support of this nonprofit. The entire organization is volunteer run which allows almost all donations to be used for programs that directly impact the children. have supported children through ULA for over 14 years and have spend numerous hours as a volunteer (including 4 -5 trips to Uganda to minister to the children).
Ugandan Lambs is a great group to belong to and get involved with. Not only you can personally get to know the founders, Sam and Ruth, and help with a great cause, but you are meeting a great need in helping young people get a good education and spiritual help. This is such a step up for these kids who other wise wouldn't have a chance to better themselves because of losing their family through AIDS.
So many nonprofit groups are misusing the system and scamming people. But Sam and his wife, Ruth, are such dear people with a real heart to help these kids. After many years of hardships, things are coming together.

Ugandan Lambs doesn't just write about problems. They don't just gather money and send it off. Ugandan Lambs takes action on the ground, in Uganda, improving the lives of many needy individuals, families, and communities. I like private charities. They provide the most supportive and effective bang for the buck. Sam and Ruth Sebabi exemplify what is good about private charity. They are big-hearted and driven to fix problems. Big organizations and governments have their role, but small private charities focus in and fulfill needs. Three cheers to Ugandan Lambs. May they carry on in helping those in need in finding hope, increasing prosperity, and success.
This charitable organization does an outstanding job. Sam Sebabi, his wife Ruth, and all of the caring volulnteers who support the Ugandan Lambs provide a nurturing, Christian environment for oorphans in Uganda. They support all of their needs including an excelelnt education. In reading through the other reviews I must say that I am even more impressed by the care that the founders take in keeping the administrative costs so low, insuring that almost all of the donations go to the orphaned children.
This charity is doing great work that has a meaningful impact on the lives of children and the community in which they live. They have a focused mission that uses money in a way that I would use it with my own children. Ugandan Lambs is equipping their children so they have the tools to succeed and contribute to their community well into the future. Their philosophy of establishing a solid foundation for these children to be able to build on is meaningful, effective, and lasting. This is the type of change for good that i can feel good about supporting.
The Ugandan Lambs Association (uLA) has an unquestionably positive and life-saving effect on the orphans who are part of ULA. The love and commitment of the founders and team members is clear; and I can see that each child has their needs met and also feels loved and cared for. This is an organization that I am so impressed with, and it is a blessing to see the great work that it is doing.
We are writing this as a team because we started this organization at a team. Starting this organization has been the most rewarding thing we have ever done. We have experienced the high and the lows. Ugandan Lambs Association USA exist today because of the people's generosity with their money and time. The real heroes of the Ugandan Lambs Association USA story, are the sponsors, donors, and volunteers who have provided the resources to help the children whom they probably will never meet. Because of their donations we have children who are dreaming of a bright future. There are no longer hopeless, they are dreaming of becoming Pastors, Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers and Auto Mechanics. Lastly, we are glad that God chose us to participate in this success story.

Ugandan Lambs Association USA was formed because of a child who is no longer with us asked me a question, when I went to visit him on his death bed dying from HIV/AIDS. “What is going to happen to me”? Without even thinking I replied, “I will take care of you”. Thus the birth of Ugandan Lambs Association USA. Today there are 70 children under Ugandan Lambs Association USA care. If I can summarize the feelings of everybody involved in Ugandan Lambs Association USA would be, “We Care”.
Ugandan Lambs Association USA is a non-profit organization that cares for orphaned and HIV/AIDS children in Uganda, East Africa. The stories of orphans and HIV/AIDS are all tragedies from the moment they first receive that unwanted label of orphan and HIV/AIDS.
For the vast majority of the children there is no way to change that reality without direct and intentional intervention of others. That is what Ugandan Lambs Association USA is doing – intervening to rewrite the stories of the children in our care. Where the future once held abject poverty, inevitable abuse (physical and sexual) and despair, Ugandan Lambs Association USAS is bringing possibilities and a future filled with Hope.
Uganda lambs is a great charity that has blessed many through it's acts. It has touched and changed many lives including me. I have started to volunteer and have witnessed the hard work and great deeds that this organization does to give the best opportunities for those less fortunate.
This is a wonderful organization. Although not serving in the capacity as a volunteer anymore, I've changed my status from a non-donor volunteer to becoming a monthly donor. Although a small organization in size, they are doing large things with the orphaned children in a warm, nurturing, caring, and Christian environment. Presently I'm supporting them with General Administration and other expenses since they absorb a lot of costs with this general category such as travel, illnesses, building improvements on the children's residences, and on and on. Excellent fiscal responsibility. When I first evaluated this organization in agreeing to volunteer, I needed to know how they handled the percentage of money going directly to the children. They are close to 95-98%. In fairness to other non-profits, this organization is still growing and this percentage could change, but I know the founder's heart, Sam and all the wonderful volunteers involved so I know they will always strive to keep their admin costs low!

After reviewing several organizations where I might volunteer my marketing skills, I chose Ugandan Lambs Association (ULA) USA to volunteer my time and skills. What impresses me are the hearts and passions of the founder, the board members and other volunteers who pour their time and efforts into Ugandan Lambs Association to help meet the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of orphaned and AIDS/HIV children living in Uganda. The second thing that impresses me is the high percentage of monies distributed directly to the children. There are no rich CEO's benefiting from entrusted funds or any misappropriation of entrusted funds or expensive marketing programs with a low return on investment. Finally, I'm impressed with the children themselves. It is very obvious that the children are being well-taken care of through the ULA sponsorship program and there are many success stories of graduates who are in the process of becoming the future leaders of Uganda.
My wife and I started supporting Ugandan Lambs Association (ULA) about 18 months ago. We have been very impressed with the quality of the leadership and their dedication to the children (Lambs) in the program. ULA has established a way for us to communicate with our Lambs by both letter and email. Our Children have also written us letters and sent pictures. We also get to see their report cards and can encourage them about school.
The ULA program is very special and we are glad to be sponsors and volunteers.
My wife and I have the privilege of supporting Christopher Mujabi, a 12 year old boy whose parents died of AIDs when he was quite young. Ugandan Lambs opened up this possibility to us and the fact that the organization is small and very transparent gave us confidence that the money we send goes to Christopher's support and not supporting an "organization". This year I was able to travel to Uganda and meet Christopher along with all the other 72 children currently being fed, clothed, housed and educated thru the efforts of Ugandan Lambs. I know the founders and have recently been asked to be on their board of directors. If you have a desire to help someone in need I can say without qualification that Ugandan Lambs provides that opportunity.
I have volunteered with Ugandan Lambs for several years, primarily doing photography. The 72 children being cared by this nonprofit organization are receiving an excellent education, spiritual training, and physical care. I will be making my third trip to Uganda in August to minister to the children. I always come back feeling blessed that God has allowed me the opportunity to be part of this very worthwhile ministry to children who would otherwise be in a hopeless situation.
Ugandan Lambs Association USA is a small nonprofit that is struggling to support 72 children who have been left as orphans with no adults to care for them. The organization meets the physical, educational and spiritual needs of the children. Their are no paid staff members in the USA which allows essentially all funds to be used to support the program. The primary funding streams are through individual child sponsorship, annual fundraising events and various small scale fundraisers throughout the year.
The founders, Sam and Ruth Sebabi, have dedicated their entire lives to providing for the "lambs". They are an inspiration to many! They live out their Christian values daily as they quietly seek to find sponsors for each child.
Ugandan Lambs is a non profit and non governmental organisation has helped the hopeless orphans in Uganda to regain hope in achieving their goals.
I thank Sam and Ruth together with the donors who looked ahead and founded this organisation and to only realize that the orphans who were hopeless can now have a goal in life.
A great thank you goes to the donors and the founders. We are grateful.
May the good Lord reward you abundantly.
In the time I have known Sam and Ruth, I have come to appreciate their heartfelt compassion for the children, the Ugandan Lambs. They carry a heavy burden for these children to see their physical, emotional, mental, psychological and, most importantly, spiritual needs met. The countless hours and financial sacrifice that they have given is all for helping these precious children and securing a future for them. I have no doubt that with continued support and encouragement, Sam and Ruth will be able to see these children grow to be healthy, well-balanced, productive adults who will, in turn, give back to others in their own community.
I first met Sam and Ruth when they spoke in church about their orphaned neices and nephews in Uganda. At that time they were supporting the children themselves. Their compassion and care for the children was contageous and I along with many others became sponsors. God has blessed the giving and brought in many more orphans. As a sponsor I have recieved updates on the children and the work throughout the entire ministry. Friends have been able to visit the children in Uganda to see how they are doing and to be a personal help. I feel assured in knowing that what I give is being used wisely along with prayers being answered.
G.H.
I have been involved in Ugandan Lambs in various capacities for over eight years. I have been a director within the organization, a volunteer, as well as a donor. Ugandan Lambs has made a significant impact on the lives of these children in Uganda. I have been to Uganda twice to photograph and document the work being done by this organization, and I have seen the differences first-hand. I've been to the village that many of these children were born in, and have seen the difference it has made to provide schooling, clothing, and resources to succeed. Ugandan Lambs is interested in breaking the cycle of poverty and assistance by teaching these children how to give back to their family through vocational education, rather than just giving hand-outs to the children. This is a critical difference in the organization and one that will have a lasting impact.
I became aware of this organization through my brother and sister n law's volunteer service to the Ugandan Lambs. They have been to Africa a number of times and have shared their stories with us touching our hearts. This organization is all about helping kids who desperately need our help. These kids barely stand a chance of surviving let alone being able to learn a skill to help their people without the help of this organization. I can't say enough about their professionalism, compassion and geniune love for these orphans!
My wife and I have known Sam & Ruth for several years and have been donors for 2 years This is an excellent nonprofit. They are committed to providing the children with a quality education that will allow them to reach their potential.
Uganda Lambs Association USA is a non-profit organization that helps children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in Uganda.
The HIV/AIDS epidemic has claimed thousands of lives in Uganda, which has resulted in thousands of children to be left with either one parent or no parents at all. These children, some as young as 16 years old or younger, have been forced to become heads of households where they have to fend for themselves and for their siblings, child headed households due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic are very common in Uganda. Some orphans are left with relatives, usually grand parents who do not have the resources to care for them. After losing their parents to HIV/AIDS, a lot of the children are stigmatized and shunned by family, with no place to go they end up living on the street with no one to love them or meet their basic needs, they have to do whatever it takes to survive.
Thankfully, there are people like Sam and Ruth who have seen the need and have stepped up to the plate to help these children. They founded Uganda Lambs Association USA and with the help of friends and supporters of the organization, they are trying relieve the pain and suffering of some of these children, it is a great challenge, but Ruth and Sam have shown us the way, now it is up to us to walk this path with them.
I'm very excited to work with Uganda Lambs because of the vision they have for taking orphaned children in Uganda and helping to provide for their physical and spiritual needs. There are many organizations in Africa that do this type of thing, but what makes this so unique is that this is an effort spearheaded by Sam and Ruth Sebabi who have invested their "blood, sweat and tears" (and personal finances) into making sure the needs of these children are met. My family is so excited to sponsor a child through the organization. We get updates on our child regularly and are even able to correspond with him! It's a great way for my children to gain an understanding of how they can contribute to the needs of others. I've got no problem recommending this non-profit and am excited to see how they are able to reach out and meet the needs of more children in Uganda!
My mom and dad have been volunteers and financial supporters of the Uganda lambs for a couple of years now. They always send me pictures and videos of their trips to Africa. It is outstanding and heartfelt what this association is doing to help these children emotionally, physically, and spiritually in their needs. I have seen the compassion that this group has for the children and it is a wonderful thing to know that people still care.
My husband and I have been financial supporters of Ugandan Lambs from the beginning and sponsored a young girl and boy through the early years of their lives and career training. Ugandan Lambs Assoc USA cares for the total person, physical, spiritual , emotional; supplies medical care and job training, which enables the person to be self-sustaining and a contributor to their community. We are continuing monthly supporters.

Excellent nonprofit. They are passionate about helping the children and committed to providing them with a quality education that will allow them to reach their potential!

The personal hands on work of the founders and the length of their commitment along with the team they have built around them presents a level of confidence in the work of UGL. My wife and I support a young man and feel confident that the money we send will go to meet his needs and not feed a large bureaucracy at the organizations headquarters. The heart of the support team is for the welfare of the children and for that we support them 100%.
I have volunteered with Ugandan Lambs for approximately 2 years. The children are well cared for and happy even though they are in dire circumstances. We have sponsored children for many years and are pleased that essentially all of our money goes directly to help the children! Most of the funding comes from individual sponsors. There are no high priced CEOs running the organization. The USA office is run entirely by volunteers.
