Mission: The UAPO believes in the idea of partnership and equality. To demonstrate this belief in equality, UAPO adopts the visions and goals of Ugandans who have the heart, motivation, and capability to serve their people. By providing finances and consulting each ministry, UAPO is helping indigenous groups realize and achieve their dreams for Uganda. The end goal is for these ministries to grow into sustainable organizations without reliance on outside aid.
Programs: Akola project mission driven enterprise. Akola offers vocational training and employment to women with little to no education or opportunity so they can provide the basic needs of their families and have the resources to become agents of transformation. Akola women produce a jewelry collection that is sold in the states and earned revenue from the jewelry collection is reinvested in the mission to offer more vocational training and employment to women.
akola academy. Akola offers a series of ministry, wellness, and educational programs to holistically address the needs of women in the akola program and equip them to become and agent of transformation
