Mission: The UAPO believes in the idea of partnership and equality. To demonstrate this belief in equality, UAPO adopts the visions and goals of Ugandans who have the heart, motivation, and capability to serve their people. By providing finances and consulting each ministry, UAPO is helping indigenous groups realize and achieve their dreams for Uganda. Akola offers vocational training and employment to women with little to no education or opportunity so they can provide the basic needs of their families and have the resources to become agents of transformation. Akola women produce a jewelry collection that is sold in the states and earned revenue from the jewelry collection is reinvested in the mission to offer more vocational training and employment to women.
