UGA HEROs is a fantastic organization in which I have had a wonderful experience with. The level of commitment each student member of the organization brings to the table is something that continually amazes me. The dedication, hard work, and integrity that the organization strives to provide is one that is not often found.
In the three years I have been involved with UGA HEROs, they have never ceased to amaze me. Often collegiate philanthropies can be disorganized or lack vision, but UGA HEROs is truly an exception to the rule. It is a well-oiled machine, a business. It is run more effectively than any philanthropy I have ever worked with and these college students are truly impressive. They are always thankful for any sort of donation: be it time, money or even just support. The impact the volunteers and donors alike can make is truly remarkable and I recommend them fully.
