The Tzu Chi Education Foundation is an impactful nonprofit organization that prioritizes ideas that are all too often taken for granted in today’s society (I.e., environmental awareness, integrity, empathy, etc). From personal experience, the Education Foundation has provided me with the opportunity to guide children to a successful future not only academically, but as future citizens of tomorrow.
My daughter and I had a great time to experience the gardening in Tzu Chi Education Foundation Life Science Garden. We also enjoyed participating the Fundraising for Education Foundation when there was a free COVID vaccines Booths for the community.
It's really heartwarming to see their devoted staff and volunteers working together like one big family, thriving to provide high-quality education to the kids and the community.
My time as a youth volunteer throughout middle school has taught me so many valuable life, communication, and service skills. All of my experiences with Tzu Chi have been so eye opening and educational! Although I’m no longer a youth volunteer, I enjoy spending my spare time helping out at the Life Science Garden in walnut!
I like the organic loofah, banana and winter melon grown in the garden. They are very fresh and delicious.
The organization has an incredible passion for meeting the humanitarian needs not only locally, but regionally, nationally and even internationally. I started working in Tzu chi Education foundation in June, 2021.
Working here is a great experience and pleasure, all my coworkers are nice and professionals. Tzu Chi Foundation is built on compassion, giving and love. People who work/ volunteer in Tzu Chi do not just say, they are all role models to learn from.
After I understood Tzu Chi, I was happy to enroll my daughter to Tzu Chi preschool.
She loves her teachers, classmates and she is learning Chinese, besides Chinese and the academics my child is learning and building good character traits. (so far she has mentioned about responsibility, table manners, caring and kindness, and saving money to help others)

This is great organization, they provide great support to the people who need help. They " pay it forward" and help the communities.
This foundation focuses its resources to cultivate students' kindness and compassion. It brings much-needed positive energies to heal people's hearts in this world.
We love this Foundation because they provide a lot of programs, such as including summer camps, preschools, elementary schools. The most special is the Foundation provides character education to students and let them learn how to respect lives, love to eat vegetables and more. My child loves the shcool and the Foundation, therefore, we even visit their science garden during the weekend if we have time. Great Foundation and schools! Come to visit their becautiful campus and enjoy the time with your family.
This organization offers an amazing opportunity to help the community while keeping activities interest. I, personally, am involved with the weekly events and it is amazing. The workers are amicable and the community is welcoming. Come experience it for yourself.
Even though I’m not a big donor, I’m surprised that I can really see (actually feel) the dollars I donated to be used in the farm, in the school programs….. with the happy faces of the children and families at Tzu Chi even during the pandemic.
There is a group of people, they come to the Walnut Life Science Garden every Wednesday and Saturday, using their private time, paving the way with love, and be a farmer of the soul with diligence; they use environmental friendly farming methods, recycle dead branches, leaves, and kitchen waste as compost, and farm natural community by inspiring healthy, whole, abundant and conscious living; they advocate truth and simplicity, cherish good fortune and environmental protection, and fill their heart with love. They are the lovely and respectable Tzu Chi Walnut Life Science Garden volunteers. They build an ecological paradise for surrounding community families with love.
Tzu Chi is an unwavering compassion organization , volunteers work together to prepare for charity concert to help the victims from the wildfire , the victims from Haiti earthquake , mobile food pantry and dental/medical outreach .
This is a great organization to work with. You can not only engage in meaningful interactions with KIDS through different character education activities, but it's also FUN!! I'm surprised about the variety of programs and events they have weekly!
The indoor and out door activities are all open to the community....I meant kids and families! You can sure find a good spot for yourself when you plan to spend a few hours or days a week volunteering.
