TCF plays a vital role in the community with all the events it participates in. The Chili Cook Off, Tiller Days, Sip N Stroll, Honda Ya to name just a few. With scholarships going to many, many community organizations to ensure they are able to assist community members that need it. It is a true honor to volunteer with this bright, fun organization. I am shining a Light on the Tustin Community Foundation. The Tustin Community Foundation is a remarkable nonprofit that consistently goes above and beyond to serve others and maintain a strong community presence. They truly exemplify what it means to be an exceptional community partnership.
Through their diverse outreach and involvement efforts, they’ve become a cornerstone of local support. Their programs include fundraisers, events like pajama donations and the popular Sip & Stroll, and partnerships with schools and community organizations like ( TEAM) Tustin Effective Apartment Managers. Notable beneficiaries of their grants include the Assistance League, Tustin Public Schools Foundation, Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts, Families Forward, Council on Aging, and booster clubs supporting arts and athletics at all Tustin Unified School District high schools. By providing these grants, the Tustin Community Foundation helps these organizations tackle evolving issues that impact the community. Their dedication and commitment are truly commendable.

Each year we apply for grants from the Tustin Community Foundation. TCF has been supporting the Tustin Area Council for fine arts (TACFA) for many years and we so appreciate the support! Whether it's Art in the Schools, Broadway in the Park or one of our other many programs, the support we receive helps us keep serving the needs of the community.

Having had extensive personal interaction with the officers and volunteers of the Tustin Community Foundation, as well as with its charitable activities, I can say this is an outstanding organization. The Tustin Community Foundation does a fantastic job providing financial and other assistance to a wide variety of local non-profit organizations, and it generally strives to improve community service and community relations. It is absolutely an organization worth donating to and volunteering for, and I highly recommend them.

TCF is effective and efficient in its mission to support the Tustin community directly and through Tustin non-profits by raising funds and maximizing all funds that are received. TCF is unique in its role as a horizontal community support non-profit giving it two advantages for donors -- 1) by being the ideal (and legal) entity the City of Tustin (and in fact any government organization) can work with to direct funds to other non-profits and 2) TCF is horizontal and it has a process to grant funds to vertical non-profits.

Cancer Kinship LOVES TCF for many reasons! The leadership at TCF are relentlessly focused on creating a beautiful and safe community. They link arms with local grassroots nonprofit organizations to address critical community issues, and find fun and out-of-box ways to help nonprofits raise awareness and much-needed funds (i.e., Paper Football Challenge - who else raises funds by dressing up in costumes and flicking footballs?? - So fun!). We, at Cancer Kinship, are grateful for the support we've received throughout the past few years. With TCF's support, Tustin-area cancer warriors will receive free wigs which will help alleviate the emotional distressed experienced by chemotherapy patients. Thank you TCF for believing in our mission!

Being a supporter of The Tustin Community Foundation for many years has brought me great joy in giving back to the community. Our true goal is to raise and support the nonprofits in our community our Foundation is a one stop shop any group you wish to support you may pass through the funds through TCF for the tax benefit. I enjoy our event Thanksgiving Breakfast as this is where all the hard work shows when we award the grants to the nonprofits in our community.

The Tustin Community Foundation provides crucial community services for Tustin residents and its surrounding areas. The foundation's group of dedicated citizen volunteers are committed to assisting neighbors in need and preserving the area's exceptional standard of living. Besides the annual grant program, the TCF organizes several of Tustin's outstanding yearly events, such as Paper Football, Chef's Gourmet, Tustin Area Man and Woman of The Year, Easter Pancake Breakfast, Old Town Sip & Stroll, Tustin Mayors Celebration, and Tustin Pride Holiday Awards, among several others. It is a privilege for us to have such an active group of volunteers that are enthusiastic about contributing to our community's well-being.

Tustin Community Foundation is an organization that truly cares about giving back. I have witnessed this organization raise funds for some great causes each year and provide for those that are in immediate need (example, there was an apartment fire in the community and they quickly gathered resources to assist those in need).

We have partnered with TCF for several years to bring hands-on STEAM workshops to at-risk students in Tustin schools and out in the community. They understand how to support other nonprofits and give us the tools we need to serve those in need. Their commitment to the community is second to none.

Tustin Community Foundation has supported Hope Harbor, formerly known as Laurel House, for the last several years. Tustin Community Foundation has been instrumental in helping donate funds for many of Tustin High School's Booster clubs, especially, the THS Instrumental Music Marching Band. It has been about 10 years, but a generous grant helped us buy new band uniforms. TCF is an important and much needed foundation in the city of Tustin. We so appreciate the Tustin Community Foundation.

I am the Director of Sunday Supper, a meal & grocery program that serves Seniors, families and unhoused people every Sunday night at a local church in Tustin. Tustin Community Foundation has been a consistent donor to our program. Many times our organization was low on funds & we were lucky enough to have the support of TCF by receiving a grant.

Each year near Christmas they promote Project Pajamas, a program to provide new pajamas for adults & children in need. Many are given to Seniors who are on a fixed income.

During the initial stages of the Pandemic we had to buy PPE equipment for which we had not budgeted. We were blessed when TCF came to our rescue with a grant to help us pay for these & other supplies that became necessary due to so many changes. We needed additional supplies to protect our volunteers & guests to make sure we could continue to provide a meal each week.

Their continued support is so important to organizations like ours because we depend exclusively on donations. I look forward to a continuing partnership with Tustin Community Foundation.

Tustin Community Foundation fills a great need in the City of Tustin. From collecting PJs for Tustin students and seniors, serving shut in seniors with a meal to organizing fun events like Sip and Stroll, they have a big presence in our city. Tustin would not be the fabulous city to live in if it wasn't for Tustin Community Foundation!

The Tustin Community Foundation is an excellent nonprofit and arguably the beating heart of the great City of Tustin. Thanks to TCF, Breast Cancer Angels received a grant that helped over 10 women receive short term financial care while going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. We couldn't have achieved such a feat without them and are so thankful for the support that they give to us and the rest of the community!

TCF goes out of its way to help the Tustin Community! The Foundation supported many of our athletic and extra-curricular programs this year! Because of their generous support, Tustin students have new opportunities to engage them in campus-life. These programs give our teens a reason to smile and stay active when they need it the most!

TCF remains committed to deep listening and observation so that community members and nonprofits are holistically brought together for the greatest good. I have been on the board of Tustin Community Foundation for many years. The thing I like most about the foundation is that is changes with the needs of the community. When COVID hit, we set up a COVID fund. We fed seniors when they could not leave their homes with the help of Friend's Cafe. We provide pajamas, socks and underwear to the young and old. We have fundraisers through the year and use that money to provide grants to other non-profits in the community. The fundraisers are fun and the community gets involved. I love the Tustin community. It is an honor and a privilege to serve.

The Tustin Community Foundation doesn't just talk the talk ... they really do walk the walk. Our NPO, Kids Read!, is very grateful to TCF for providing us with grants that help us to benefit thousands of students in need of books. They truly recognize the power of connecting us with schools, shelters, clinics, hospitals, youth centers, and other programs
where underprivileged children profit from book donations. Together, we are increasing the literacy rate in our community.

I have worked with TCF for many years now, I find TCF very flexible in doing what is needed in the community at the time. They have key set fundraisers so they can help in the community and give grants as needed. Covid 19 the elderly needed food they created a program and helped deliver food to the elderly. The community requested a garden they stepped up to to organize and get it going. TCF collected over 1000 pair of PJ’s to help struggling families. TCF worked with other organizations to hand out boxes of food for struggling families. All this while trying to fundraisers to fund theses programs and to hand out grants. Best organization I have been involved with.

The Tustin Community Foundation works tirelessly to give back to the community. Their partnership with many local organizations supports their motto of working along side and caring about what is important to the local areas.

The Tustin Community Foundation is a great organization that puts the community first. TCF is making an impact in the community. From taking part in vaccination efforts, feeding seniors, and supporting other non-profits in the city, TCF does it all by taking the lead and addressing the community's concerns. The organization also helps support local businesses and throws events to help bring them more publicity and business-like Old Town's Sip N Stroll, highlighting many of the fantastic local owned businesses we have in Tustin's historic old town.

The Tustin Community foundation cares about the community. When I was the Booster President of a high school organization TCF was always by our side providing opportunities for our students to volunteer and they constantly fundraise so that they can provide grants to qualifying non profits. We are the All-American Boys Chorus, a local arts nonprofit. The Tustin Community Foundation has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Our relationship with them only goes back a few years, but they have been so good to us and our members! From the immense fun of their paper football fundraiser to their hard work in facilitating grants and contributing to the community at large, TCF has made a HUGE difference in all of our lives. We could not be more grateful for all that TCF has done, and we can't wait to continue working with them in the future!

As a local business owner, getting to know Tustin Community Foundation and all that they are involved with in order to help our community thrive, has been an absolute blessing. Erin and the team put forth so much effort to truly make those in need feel appreciated. I, myself, had no idea the amount of non-profits in Tustin alone, that take on such hardships, in order to help others, and TCF is right there to support and cheer them on. We are the PTA of Sycamore Magnet Academy in North Tustin. As a result of COVID-19 many families in our community are in need of essential supplies to slow the spread of the COVID virus. This year we worked with the Tustin Community Foundation (TCF) and secured a grant to support a service project for families in our school and surrounding community. We applied to the TCF Community Grants program to help fund some of the cost of our Sunshine Boxes program. This program will provide up to 500 boxes of essential health supplies, e.g., hand sanitizer, face masks, alcohol wipes etc to families in our school and community. Receipt of this grant is essential to the success of this important program and we are extremely appreciative of the support we have received from TCF. Also, over the years, TCF have supported a number of other programs for our school community, e.g, Run with a Cop that partners our students with members of the Tustin Police Force to prepare for the Dino Dash event. We very much look forward to continued partnership with TCF in the future and greatly appreciate their support and encouragement of so many important community initiatives.

I work for a Tustin-based nonprofit, LEAP Learning Center, and I've had the most wonderful experience working with Erin Nielsen and the entire Tustin Community Foundation team. TCF is always hard at work organizing events and fundraisers to strengthen all sectors of our community, and everything they do is done with such a loving, caring, and joyful spirit. They are quick to respond to any need and always ready to jump in and help. Our program is so grateful for their commitment to ensuring that our students and schools are always supported, especially those most in need. Erin and the team at Tustin Community Foundation (TCF) are amazing! The grant process was easy and the follow-up and communication from their end is stellar. We are able to help more residents in the community thanks to amazing partners like TCF.

It has been such a pleasure to watch the extraordinary growth and success of Tustin Community Foundation over the years. It began as an idea to help non profits in the greater Tustin area. Like many organizations, its early years were a struggle to find a voice and support. Today it stands as the epitome of philanthropic leadership in the Tustin community. Over the years, nearly every non-profit and public institution in Tustin has received help from TCF through the annual grants program, promotional efforts, or collaborative fundraisers. This success comes through the hard work of its director, board and volunteers, through the imagination and creativity of its fundraisers and marketing strategies, and through the alliance TCF has formed with the community. I am proud to be a former board member and champion of Tustin Community Foundation.

I help the Friend's café with the "Friends feeding seniors" program. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The seniors are always so grateful for the meals we bring. It warms my heart to know there are businesses who care about the community and want to help people in their time of need.

The Tustin Community Foundation has been incredibly helpful to Tustin Post 227 of The American Legion. Erin Nielsen, Executive Director, was the inspiration for our Veterans Emergency Assistance Program in 2017. Since then we have helped Veterans pay bills they could not pay. Since inception, we have paid out over $90,000 and often prevented the Veteran from becoming homeless. We have received grants from them consistently each year plus $6,500 the year we provided many volunteers for the Tustin Chili Cook-Off. TCF also gave us $5,000 from the CARES Act. We have other sources of income but none more reliable than the Tustin Community Foundation. Ivan Bishop, Commander Post 227

I never cease to be amazed by the scope and depth of assistance Tustin Community Foundation gives to our community! The Friends Feeding Seniors program to help meet Tustin's senior citizens who are experiencing food insecurity; matching volunteers with neighbors in need; organized donations of furniture for needy families; providing a variety of fundraising efforts to ensure funding of community grants to local nonprofit organizations and our schools; Project Pajamas for those children who are in need; immediate response to the first effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our community--which continues to this day. These are just some of the programs and assistance Tustin Community Foundation provides. Thank you, TCF, for all you do for Tustin!

What would our beautiful city do without TCF? This organization brings it all together! I have volunteered to help with annual events to better the place where I live for all citizens. To see people come together and support worthwhile causes is what makes this town really special. Whether you work an event or attend, what you give is always outmatched by what you receive.

Very nice group of volunteers that are really serving the seniors in the community. They are very friendly & doing an amazing service to the less fortunate, usually very old people that can't go out & get their own hot meal. I have the pleasure to be part of those volunteers that drive around dropping off those meals. If by any means you want to volunteer or donate, they'll welcome you with a big smile!

I am writing in regard to the Friends Feeding Seniors program by the Tustin Community Foundation. It is a pleasure to be able to provide meals to the less fortunate that are unable to get out to get food for them. Most of the receivers are very old and frail people. We think that this is a great program of the Foundation that helps people out. I hope to continue supporting this program !

I have been volunteering for The Tustin Community Foundation for "Friends Feeding Seniors" about 6 months now. They are very professional and genuinely care about our community!

I am the Director of a small charity that has been feeding our neighbors in need for the past 10 years. We are called Sunday Supper because we had been providing a home cooked, volunteer served meal each Sunday night. Much like the traditional Sunday meal at your mother's or grandmother's. Currently we have had to change our model due to COVID, but we still provide a bagged take away meal and take home groceries. TCF has been a consistent supporter of our mission with grants and gifts, like the yearly pajama donation. I am sincerely grateful for everything they do not only for us, but for the other non-profits in Tustin. I am grateful for their focus for those who might otherwise be forgotten.

We worked with Tustin Community Foundation this year to secure a grant to support a very important virtual program for the Tustin Unified School District. During the pandemic it was going to be impossible for the school district to hold a college and career expo in person. A virtual event would require additional expenditures to secure a platform for the event. So Vital Link submitted a grant proposal to cover part of those costs and allow the district to stage an event that allowed students to learn about their post high school college and career opportunities. It is wonderful when multiple organizations can pull together to help our students during such a difficult time.

The Tustin Community Foundation is an extraordinary Foundation supporting greater Tustin. They plan an amazing number of special events that not only support the Comunity, they are designed to bring the Community together, which has created so many close ties between all residents, Youth, adults and seniors aike. They have also created an environment that brings many, many volunteers together to plan and participate in their activities, so in the greatest sense of Community, Tustin Community Foundation supports the community financially and supports the residents to BE a community that supports and cares for each other, our Youth, our seniors, our Schools and all residents.They continuously spread a feeling of coommunity and good will.

The Tustin Community Foundation has set itself apart from one of the three-hundred plus charities in Tustin. TCF is involved in so many fundraising events, all for the purpose of giving back to the community. It s starts in February with the Paper Football Challenge (my favorite) and nears the end in November with the Tustin Mayor's Thanksgiving Breakfast and December's Holiday Walk to name a few. TCF's continual commitment to our community is one of the reasons why Tustin has a small town feel in a big-time city. Through the organizations efforts, there is no other place I would like to live.

Tustin Community Foundation is a wonderful nonprofit dedicated to making Tustin a better place! They hold wonderful events and are able to give out grants to many who require help.

TCF provides grants to nonprofits. I am president of a local nonprofit and we were able to leverage the grant we received. The grant allowed our organization to do something we could not have done otherwise. This made a huge difference for us and we are very grateful to TCF.

As a Board member I see firsthand how the Foundation serves the community. All year long we are focused on our fund-raising events and then in October our Grant committee meets and reviews the scores of grant requests. This is all culminated with our Thanksgiving Breakfast where we handout checks to local charities.

TCF is a wonderful organization filled with passionate and kind people. I joined the board this year and am enjoying my experience very much. TCF brings the community together in so many ways-- with fun and engaging community events, and by providing grants to local nonprofits. I am so grateful to be involved with such a great foundation!

I live in Tustin and I cannot sing the praises of the Tustin Community Foundation largely enough! They put on so many events to support our Community and with such professionalism and enthusiasm, that it makes me want to volunteer my time, my efforts and my financial support even more!!! They support non-profits, such as our Assistance League of Tustin, which supports our community and our schools and they sponsor many super fun events throughout the year which bring our Community together to further raise up our quality of life here! So much of what Tustin has become as a fabulous City in which to live and enjoy family largely is a result of the many efforts and activities put forth by the Tustin Community Foundation! We love the Tustin Community Foundation! The Tustin Community Foundation does so many wonderful things. We Are a small business in Old Town Tustin and whenever possible we support and work with them for their events. They are all amazing people who work so tirelessly to take care of so many other non-profits in our community. They care so much about the people and causes they raise money for. They events are always successful because the wonderful volunteers have such a big heart. Tustin would not be the same tight knit community we are without the Tustin Community Foundation.

TCF has become an integral part of the Tustin community, helping many other non-profits and making direct contributions of its own. Everywhere you look, in every season of the year, TCF volunteers are there supporting community organizations. Their Superhero award program is one way in which they offer recognition to the volunteer community, and it is a much-appreciated tribute. The Foothill Communities Association sponsored me for a Superhero award last year due to my work on some land use issues, and I consider my cape a real honor.

I was honored by the American Legion Post 227 as a superhero. What an amazing acknowledgment! I could not be more grateful. The Tustin Community Foundation, in my opinion, is the pride and joy of Tustin. By supporting Tustin charities many citizens are assisted, with dignity and respect. to the basic necessities of life. What greater gift or reward is there? Bravo and well done!

I was one of the Superhero Volunteers of the Year for 2018. Before this year, I had not heard of this event. However, seeing all the different organizations come together to recognize, not only the individual, but the organizations they represent was a terrific thing. This shows the Community Foundation's love for the city and how it encourages people to be more involved.

Tustin Community Foundation is synonymous with giving in the greater Tustin area and I am so proud of the tireless and ongoing work they do for the benefit of our other nonprofits and schools. Whether it be donating uniforms to the local school band, pajamas to children in need, awarding generous grants to organizations which help our less advantaged residents--Tustin Community Foundation consistently goes above and beyond in giving back. As a nonprofit professional who has worked closely with the Tustin Community Foundation, I know the well-being of the community is their top priority. In addition, the organization's transparency is apparent, and they were a pleasure to work with.

The Tustin Community Foundation brings together multiple nonprofits to collaborate and provide a holistic array of services to the community. Their work is tremendous and inclusive and it is a pleasure working with them.

We were a brand new non profit organization, however our work started well before we were actually able to register ! With planning and getting together a board as well as building programs we will one Day have to offer we’ve had a lot of rough nights but worked hard Thru our hearts and put our minds together and made it happen. Thru this when we registered as a non profit organization, Tustin Chamber of Commerce was amazing. They introduced themselves to us and immediately there were there and invited us to join the Superheroes of Tustin & two volunteers were recognized, I was one of them. I was so glad and it meant and still means the world to me. After so many days of work and sweat and then actually registering and quickly within months American Disciples Angel’s Project was able to put on Easter Baskets and games for kids in need and their families , we had a few very special families that we helped out durin April and November and then the toy drive at the holiday times. It was an eye opener seeing what these kids wanted for Christmas and how their moms and dads would do anything to have their beautiful children have “something to open on Christmas morning “ and to see the moms and dads faces when they came to pickup gifts , price less and emotional !
I did not volunteer to get recognition or awards and I don’t expect anything from the people that I help in return and sometimes you don’t get a thank you or don’t hear a good job for months , but you just keep going and so when I was contacted and told that I was being recognized it really gave me the recharge I needed to keep going and then I met the MOST AMAZING WOMAN and that is Erin Nielsen Tustin Community Foundation and she , to this day answers my silly questions and allows piston events and just always is there when I need her. She makes me feel like I am definitely not the only one when things aren’t great and has great advice and I would love to become friends with her on a more personal basis and as I have met people along the way , and each one is very special, Tustin Community Foundation stands out to me because Erin is so special and she goes out of her way , like she knows I needed and still need volunteers and makes sure we know when there is an event TCF has for matching volunteers to organizations. Just a great foundation and great people holding it up and making it work for everyone! I missed the superhero lunch this year , but We already have one of our amazing superhero’s picked out for next year and can’t wait to find the other one and sign up with Tustin Community Foundation. Thanks for all you do and especially Erin thank you for being you. No one can train anyone to have the deep care and love that you hold.

Tustin Community Foundation goes above and beyond, investing in and supporting its community. They have donated fresh new pajamas to the teen girls of Laurel House for several years. We love that they bring our "Superheroes," the volunteers of our nonprofits together for a celebratory luncheon, recognizing their acts of volunteerism and service to the community. TCF is a wonderful community partner and neighbor! Both the Orange County Rescue Mission and the Hurtt Family Health Clinic are so blessed by their support and partnership in so many ways. We are thankful for the role that TCF plays in our community and the way they serve our great city!

As Board President of a small Tustin non-profit, Tustin Dollars for Scholars, I can not say enough wonderful things about Tustin Community Foundation! The first assistance they gave our group came in a wonderful newsletter format that they generously shared with us! Next came the participation by the director in our major fundraiser, The Kentucky Derby Party, as a "jockey" for 4 years in a row! TCF has given our group many opportunities to become known in Tustin. By being invited to participate with the many other non-profits, TCF serves as the conduit to make our city a great place to live. We have participated in their fund raising events and have honored our volunteers of the year at Tustin Community Foundation's HEROES LUNCHEON. TCF consistently keeps us informed about Tustin activities and graciously advertises Tustin Dollars for Scholars events.

Our group's purpose is to raise money for scholarships for local high school seniors. One way we do this is by selling hamburgers and hotdogs at the summer Concerts In the Park. TCF awarded us a $500 grant to purchase a new bar-b-que! Two years later they awarded us another grant to purchase a customized canopy! This has made it possible to award additional scholarships! Thank you TCF for what you do for our community, and for your support of Tustin Dollars for Scholars.

TCF is an excellent example of an effective community based organization. At work in the greater Tustin community, TCF events and fundraisers provide essential funding for other local non-profits that deliver services directly to those most in need.

Tustin Community Foundation is the example that we all want to follow in regards to non profits in Tustin, CA. The accumulation of sponsors and donors are necessary to provide organizations such as youth sports teams, high school organizations, and other very important non-profits with grants to help fund their programs. I am proud to be part of this group.

The Tustin Community Foundation is one of those unique organizations that truly puts their fundraising efforts toward the betterment of the community. I am always most impressed by their grants program, which puts significant monetary awards in the hands of local organizations who truly need the help.

TCF has been great for getting the community involved in the charitable needs of Tustin. I have been to nearly all of their events in the past year and am proud to help out. It is great to help a charity that I can see the donations come in and then get put into the hands of people who make a difference!

I have attended several of their fund raisers over the past year. They have all been very well done and attended. I feel very confident in donating to their causes. I was able to attend their annual event where they awarded the grants to the recipients. I will continue to support Tustin Community Foundation.

The Tustin Community Foundation raises funds throughout the year and is supported solely by donations and not City funds. The events bring the community and business leaders together to work for a greater cause. I urge you to attend an event and feel the energy generated by people working together to address community needs. I was recently honored at the Superheros of Tustin event and was floored by the energy in the room. Looking forward to the next and hope to continue meeting new friends!

It is quite rewarding to work with Tustin Community Foundation. The Socks and Underwear drive in the fall helps contribute to filling the backpacks given to Tustin children at the start of school. Hosting a Pajama Drive each holiday season allows children to receive the gift of a brand new pair of pajamas. TCF supports the community of Tustin in countless ways and it is a honor to be part of this group.

The Tustin Community Foundation is an excellent partner for our Clinic in the Park, (www.clinicinthepark.org). With the support and enthusiasm of TCF we have transported children and families to the Clinic on the 2nd Sunday of the month at the OC Great Park Farmers Market. Well over 1500 Clinic visitors have benefited from our services which have included oral health exams, developmental assessments, mini consults with our dietitian, fee bicycle helmets and booster seats, and connections to health insurance and other income eligible social services. This is an outstanding community foundation committed to serving underserved children and their families in Tustin.

The Tustin Community Foundation is an important part of the fabric of Tustin. The group not only holds fund-raising events. Individuals in its Advisory and Board of Directors groups are hands-on, everybody-in worker bees. The funds raised support vital non-profits in the Tustin area. The "many hands make light work" attitude of the members helps extend the Foundation's reach in the community. It truly is an organization that strives to strengthen the "unity" of the community. The Tustin Community Foundation (TCF) is a "great" non-profit organization! Motivated by the endless energy of Erin Nielsen, Executive Director, TCF serves the greater Tustin community by raising funds for other local volunteer organizations who deliver programs and supportive services to members of the community most in need; in particular, children and families. TCF is a catalyst for building collaborative relationships with other non-profits, which has brought people together and strengthened the Tustin community.

The Tustin Community Foundation is a great fit for the Community! The Executive Director is part time and has so much compassion for what she does. The volunteers are all engaged and really take pride in the community they serve. The events are fun and help raise money to provide assistance to those in need. I am very proud to be part of such an awesome organization!

This organization is totally community based. The governing volunteer board is composed of local business people and hard-working volunteers who carry out the event planning are dedicated. The only paid person is a part-time director who is involved with every facet of the planning. The recipients of their largess are all local, mostly small organizations who need a boost whether it be food, clothing, a baseball score board or cots for their residents. The Board selects a separate committee to choose the recipients so there is no favoritism. This group of volunteers prints a monthly newsletter and sponsors one activity a month. They have sponsored a "green" workshop, a teens safe driving session, and have several annual events that each raises several thousand dollars. I heartily endorse Tustin Community Foundation as a true example of community helping community.

I am a hands on working volunteer. We do community clean up, build floats, interact with the community by presenting awards for home owner's holiday decorations and in the spring, their pride in landscape appearance and upkeep.
TCF is a multi faceted organization that will continue to enhance people's lives with the work that is done and by the funding presented to the ones in need.

The well managed growth of TCF is truly impressive. So many changes in a relatively short time! I am thrilled to see how the foundation meets the emerging (and current) needs of the city by doing annual needs assessments, as well as by simply keeping on top of what is really happening within local organizations. TCF is an excellent example of how a true non-profit should be managed. Most importantly, the Tustin Community Foundation provides the 'thread' that ties the community together and makes a meaningful impact on so many people!

TCF is a caring, concerned Board and non-profit that is determined to assist other non-profits in the Tustin Community. They raise funds through supporting Tustin Community activities and other fund raising events. They allowcate their funds to other Tustin non-profits who are serving the community's underserved population and Seniors. There is an excellent process in place for receiving, reviewing and awarding Grants. The Thanksgiving Breakfast is a fund raiser and an opportunity to share the good news about the Grants. Our executive director is tireless...always looking out for ways to assist Tustin residents through existing non-profits. Her enthusiasm is contagious...she keeps the board moving forward and on point. It is an honor to be a part of this organization.

TCF in a true "community" organization, that provides grants funds to other non-profit service providers in making our community a better place. From outdoor concerts, theater in the park, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies, Thanksgiving breakfasts, etc., etc., TCF is invloved in many varied fundrainsing activities in the city of Tustin. The city of Tustin is well served by this amazing organization that is lead by the ever energetic and innovative Executive Director, Erin Nielsen. I am proud to be a volunteer with an organization that has the breadth and vision to truely serve those in need and to make a difference.

TCF is an amazing organization. It is a true rarity that a city cares so deeply about its citizens to muster up support for the needy. TCF honors its endowment applicants with their care, concern and funds. The organizations that TCF endows are truly making a difference in the community.
