I have volunteered here, and I think it's a great place. The folks running it are clearly devoted to the animals, and the animals are beautiful and sweet. The vet and the farrier come regularly, and the donkeys (and a few mules, horses, and hinnies) go out to graze on grass periodically as a change from hay etc. Cleaning up poop might not be my first choice of a hobby, but I like to think I'm helping a little bit. Patting and chuckling at the donkeys make it gratifying.
