Mission: TPCS Inc., is a community-based organization designed to address the needs of underserved people, especially women and children, in Essex and Union Counties of New Jersey, offing emergency housing and supportive services.
Our primary mission calls us to serve women and children who are experiencing homelessness. Our goal, is to develop and implement programs that facilitate a person's ability to become self-sufficient by helping to break the cycles of: violence, substance abuse, poverty, and incarceration, that have permeated their lives and have placed them at risk for prolonged periods of homelessness.
Current programs are staffed 24 hours a day in order to provide safe and secure housing, and supportive services that help facilitate successful transition from a state of homelessness to independent living.

Turning Point has turned my life around. When I came here just a year ago, I was in shambles in need of financial rehabilitation. With their help, I have my own apartment, have enabled a better awareness of self and have the proverbial tools I need not only to create a better home-based environment for my family, but by allowing me to participate in the job training program to help me further my career endeavors. What more can a woman ask for! I thank god that TPCS Inc helped me get my life back on track and with them in my corner I am sill a positive work in progress.
