Mission: The mission of the institute for truth in accounting is, in a non-partisan manner, to compel government to produce financial reports that are understandable, reliable, transparent and correct.
Programs: Educational programs and materials: educating the public about federal and state governments' financial conditions through web pages, online posting, meetings with and speaking to groups and individuals, preparing and distributing research documents and educational material, and promoting accurate and consistent governmental accounting standards.
