This is a wonderful organization which preserves property for all to enjoy. Some properties are just land others have estates or other significant buildings to the culture and history of Massachusetts. I have been a member for many years. It is important to have the opportunity to be out in nature and experience the natural world. It is one of the few organizations which allows dogs on their properties. Now with more active farms, many people are enjoying fresh food.TTOR is incorporated in my estate planning because I want future generations to be able to share my experiences in nature.
Absolutely love Weir River Farm! I am totally enjoying being a member of their CSA. The food is so fresh and delicious, totally awesome. They help with recipes on the website which is great for things you haven't tried before. Properties of the trustees of the reservations are also amazing and beautiful. Cannnot go wrong supporting this fabulous organization! Thank-you for all you guys do!
Looking for a fun place to take my daughter, I stumbled upon the website for Trustees of Reservations, and I thank heaven for that! The unique and special places they take care of, including my favorite, World's End, are true treasures. They have taken great steps to make sure you test out new places and provide guide books to "Find your place."
This is the one organization for outdoor activities I have joined and I feel they've provided me a doorway to wonderful family experiences for years to come. I will happily support them.
Appleton Farms is the most favorite place on this earth for our family. We are CSA members and regular program attendees - for grown up and kids. Any chance we get, we love to go on the farm grounds to learn, explore and experience. The staff is friendly, warm and full of knowledge.
I have three daughters and when I just asked them what tey loved the most about Appleton, they said "THE COWS!". We visit them often and love how well cared for they are.
After 6 years of being a CSA member, I am convinced that Appleton has a master craft of fresh food, recipes and recommendations on integrating organic eating to a busy life style.
We are grateful for Appleton Farms and love being a part of the community. Thank you.
Volunteering at the Trustees of Reservations has been the best volunteer experience I have ever had. It is a place that never asks for too much of your time, appreciates all you give- whether it is an hour or 100 hours. In the past with other organizations, I felt exhausted with the output I was putting into volunteerism, and yet never felt it was enough or appreciated. With the Trustees, we celebrate success- small and large. They are incredibly creative and open to new ideas of raising money. In my case, planning a dinner at an estate that people don't frequent in the fall months as much as the summer. Letting me work on an idea with another volunteer, trust us, provide staff support, and in the end have a great, fun event. With the event, we brought people to the estate who had never been there, or heard of the organization. It also provided an event for current members of the group to experience a great event at a magical and historical place like the Crane Estate in Ipswich. I can't say enough how much I enjoy volunteering with the Trustees!
