Programs: Instruction - the university is built on the belief that academic disciplines in the liberal arts can be taught within the context of the christian faith in order to provide young people with a high quality education which emphasizes what matters most: principles, ideals, ethics, morals, and values. With an enrollment of 1,606 current students, truett mcconnell university has increased its enrollment by 74% since 2011. Also, over the past two years, the school has obtained a faculty of which more than 58 percent hold doctorates in their respective fields. The university offers forty six four-year programs of study in majors in business, humanities, christian studies, education, history, music, and interdisciplinary studies. Truett online, a program that offers students the opportunity to earn a degree completely online, began in the spring of 2009 and now offers students the opportunity to earn a degree in business or christian studies. Truett online has specifically reached out to bi-vocational pastors, as well as laity, to offer an opportunity for them to continue their education. Truett mcconnell university is accredited by the commission on colleges of the southern association of colleges and schools.
