The best charitable organization I have ever worked with! I purchased a Trinity Oaks sponsored hunt at the Dallas Safari Club Convention in January. The hunt was with a wounded warrior, Larry Weishunh, Jim Zumbo and myself to be hosted through Trinity Oaks. The hunting experience was fantastic but what was even more fantastic and life impacting was to learn about the wonderful work Trinity Oaks performs. One afternoon I was given the opportunity for a tour and a chance to see the progress on Paige’s Place, what a special place of healing and enjoyment that will be when completed. Additionally, through the course of my visit I was able to learn about learn their food program and was truly amazed at the quantities of venison that has been provided to those who are truly in need. This is an organization I am proud to support and promote. I encourage everyone to take a look at Trinity Oaks and hopefully discover the importance of their continued success and donate generously in support of that cause.

Trinity Oaks is a wonderful organization that is investing in the lives of thousands of people with a real need of hunger. They are providing healthy meat to people who most days never imagined being able to afford purchasing a product as expensive as meat is for their families. We are forever grateful for Trinity Oaks generosity, friendliness, care and investment into those in need. The are a non-profit with dedication and integrity. The meat they provide our organization with goes to poor deaf children, teens and adults as well as their families in the northeastern corner of Mexico. A "disabled" population typically considered "invisible throw-aways" is having their basic need of healthy food met with the help of Trinity Oaks.

The work that this organization is doing is crucial to the community, youth and veterans. The mission statement of "To take what we have been given and give back to make a difference in the lives of others," is something the entire team at Trinity Oaks takes to heart in everything it does whether it is getting youth into the outdoors, re-acquainting our veterans back into the outdoors or working locally in the community to make an impact this team puts everything it has into its programs.

Trinity Oaks Enterprises has a heart bigger then Texas! I own Alpen Optics and hold Celebration Hunts for Injured Female Veterans. When Trinity Oaks got wind of what I was doing they stepped in with arms and pocket books wide open! Six female vets were celebrated for their service to our county with hunting, fishing, music, 250 Combat Marine escort on Harleys! Tom Snyder and his awesome volunteers (hundreds of folks with so much love to share) just stepped up to the plate and created an experience for these women they will never forget....that their injuries do not define them and the outdoors is healing. I could go on and on....God Bless Trinity Oaks for their work with Veterans, children, folks with challenges, food banks...there is no end to their enthusiasm and passion for helping others. Blessings, Vickie Gardner, VP of STUFF and Marketing Alpen Optics

Serving on the advisory board, I have personally seen the inner workings and the hearts of the volunteers and founders that make up Trinity Oaks. It is comprised of people who give more than they can in both time and treasure to give back to those who are truly in need. From helping our veterans know that they are still important and can still enjoy life to feeding families thru the game processing center to helping disadvantaged youth learn to hunt and fish and many more outreach programs, this organization shines.

Trinity Oaks is truly a rare gem in the world of nonprofits!! Most donors do not understand that when they donate to a nonprofit a percentage of those funds go directly to pay for administrative fees. Although this in itself is not entirely bad because these organizations need to sustain themselves, but when the administrative costs are beyond 15-20%, are they using your dollar to help others? Trinity Oaks is an organization that gives back 100% of what is given and is strictly run by volunteers. What doe this mean, for every $100 that's given $100 goes back to the people we serve. Your money is being used to help not only wounded soldiers but underprivileged and or terminally ill children/adults, and to feed homeless/hungry people across Texas and into Mexico.

As a development professional that works with many nonprofits, this group of people give more to their Texas community through hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities than any other! With a small budget, tiny staff, and a handful of volunteers their impact is incredible!

Trinity Oaks provide therapeutic, life-changing experiences for wounded veterans, disabled children, and people with chronic or terminal illness. Trinity Oaks is not just about the once off experience either; they also mentor youth through fostering relationships outdoors. Trinity Oaks' volunteers donate their own time to teach outdoor education and provide opportunities for underprivileged or previously disadvantage kids to participate in safe, engaging, active outdoor programs.

Personally, one of the most inspiring aspects of the organization is their meat processing facility. Excess game meat from the hunts and meat donated by local sportsmen and women are processed privately at no cost to the donor at the Trinity Oaks private facility in San Antonio. Trinity Oaks' only full time employee (who's salary is generously covered by an individual donor) cranks out over 4,500 lb. of game meat MONTHLY! These packages of organic meat are then given to area charities and soup kitchens or shipped overseas to our active military troops. The meat that comes from Trinity Oaks equates to over 180,000 MEALS per year for our neighbors in need.

I cannot say enough good things about this group. Internally, Trinity Oaks is fiscally conservative, the board members are very involved with personal contributions of money and time, and the volunteers are doing it from their heart. Externally, Trinity Oaks is growing organically, yearly increasing their reach and impact, and in no time this little nonprofit will be a household name.
