Mission: Tribal law and policy institute (tlpi) is a native american nonprofit corporation organized to provide education, research, training, and technical assistance programs that promote improvement of indian country justice and health, well-being, and culture of native people.
Programs: To establish and maintain the national child welfare resource center for tribes (nrc4tribes), a service of the children's bureau (cb), serving as a member of the cb child welfare training and technical assistance network, is designed to improve child welfare systems and to support states and tribes in achieving sustainable, systemic change that results in greater safety, permanency, and well-being for children, youth, and families.
