Mission: - to educate the public that women are veterans and American heroes just like their male counterparts. - to fostering camaraderie, have fun, make friends - to enrich the lives of their members and those in the community. Guiding Principles: patriotism, camaraderie and service
Results: Enriching Lives of Members: * $26K to equine therapy - 30 graduates * $6K to service dog programs - 2 women * $4K adapted kayak for 1 wounded warrior * $25K education conference and future conference start up fees. 140 attendees. * $10K donation to the woman warrior monument, Bushnell, Fl Enriching lives of the Community * $10K in kind donations • Project SOS (Christmas gifts to over 80 children). • Wildwood Police Back to School Toiletry Drive. • Warrior Moms Baby shower. • 25 lap blanket’s to Sumter Senior Living (SSL). Total Impact of unkind donations is difficult, but estimated at impacting 200 individuals Showing Patriotism: *$13K on HG uniforms and equipment - 20 ceremonies * Volunteered time for Wreaths Across America, Flags for Fallen.

We want to make sure our stories are told and never lost in history. - yearbook - Oral history project - monument honoring women warriors from all wars at freedom memorial plaza, Bushnell * Community Connection: Membership fosters connections with other women veterans, other veteran and non veteran community partners creating a sense of belonging and camaraderie. We embrace civic duty, volunteering to help in the state election process by staffing a precinct. *Patriotism: We love our country and are not afraid to show it Our 16 member Honor Guard is often called on to provide military honors at ceremonies and funerals throughout the 3 counties and the state
