Causes: Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services
Mission: The Trent Hill Center for Children & Families partners with children and families to cultivate thriving, healing, and community.
Results: In 4 years, Trent Hill Center has served more than 100 residents in our group home plus more than a dozen in our on-site counseling center. Our new programs have served 2 Independent Living residents and 8 families in preventive services.
Target demographics: young adults and families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 27 youth in 2021 alone via our residential group home + additional youth and families through our counseling center
Geographic areas served: South Carolina
Programs: residential care for teens in foster care; mental health counseling to residents, their families, and community clients; Independent Living services to young adults transitioning out of foster care; and preventive services for at-risk families.
