Tree House is a wonderful, heart warming place. I have been there several times. I first went there on a visit to Chicago, because I wanted to see what I had been donating to. I was so very pleased. Most of the cats have free run of the shelter, and you will see cats on people's desks, just like at home. I like that on Saturdays, children are there as volunteers, on the floor playing with the kitties. They have beds and baskets, cat trees and other high up places to sleep. I have seen their new spay, neuter clinic and given money to have the recovery room named after my former cat. The clinic is run very efficiently. I am now sponsoring a cat there who was trapped in their trap/neuter/return program. He was not returned to his colony, because it was discovered that he is deaf. Instead, he is being socialized and maybe one day he will get his forever home. There are so many lucky cats there. Many are adopted, but If they are not adopted, they will spend the rest of their natural lives at Tree House, being loved by the staff and volunteers. I wish I lived in Chicago, so I could be a volunteer there. Carol Fletcher, Conroe, Texas
