In May 2023 I and my daughter have become a volunteer at this nonprofit organization. I am a victim of Domestic violence and the safe spaces victims unit ensures that we eat during our time of hardship this organization supports us, so I become a volunteer by giving a helping hand to those who are in similar situations and facing challenges at this critical time giving back for me lead to having peace of mind knowing that someone cares thanks for being generous throughout the Treasure Coast and our community Fort Pierce you have make a significant difference in our life

Causes: Food, Food Banks & Pantries
Mission: Our mission is to alleviate hunger by obtaining and distributing food and other essentials in Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties.
Results: With your support, we will be able to nourish those in need by distributing 41 million meals in FY 18.
Target demographics: We help children, seniors, families and individuals along the Treasure Coast by distributing perishable and non-perishable food items, and other essentials.
Direct beneficiaries per year: nearly 100,000 individuals each week through our networks of agencies and unique programs we offer.
Geographic areas served: Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee Counties
Programs: Mobile Pantries, Benefits assistance, Summer Meals, School Pantry Program, Backpack Program, USDA Farm-to-School, Culinary Training, Disaster Relief, Whole Child Connection, Your Plate Health and Wellness
