Nonprofit Overview

Mission: Our citizen responders provide emotional first aid to survivors of tragedy in order to ease their immediate suffering and facilitate their healing and long term recovery. TIP provides immediate emotional and practical support to survivors of tragedy. Local residents are trained to be TIP Responders and are available on a 24/7/365 day basis to assist law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, deputy coroners and hospital personnel. TIP people respond to support survivors of all types of tragedy some of which include sudden deaths, suicides, homicides, all types of accidents, drownings, victims of crimes, structure fires, and overdoses. TIP also supports travelers when tragedy occurs in the Yuba-Sutter area and they are far from home.
