This group has there cats at Petsmart. The cages are usually filthy and the adoption center stinks of cat pee. I think they have good intentions but just dont have the time to take care of the cats.

I had the best experience adopting a kitten this past weekend through Transylvania animal alliance group. Jennifer Lewis went above and beyond to ensure we found the perfect kitten for us. Her dedication and kind heart were apparent throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be happier with our new baby ! Thank you Jennifer and TAAG for all you do for these precious kittens !

TAAG is an extremely reputable animal rescue group who works collaberatively with all other area rescues. No drama here! These folks know what they're doing. They are focused & effective. Help them however you can. They have private foster homes for shelter animals that would otherwise be euthanized.

TAAG's effort is encouraging and subsidizing spay/neuter of all dogs and cats. They subsidize the cost for low income individuals and/or families. TAAG is also very involved in trying to find homes for dogs and cats. Members regularly visit county animal shelters in Transylvania, Henderson and Buncombe counties. If they find desirable dogs and/or cats they will find foster homes for them until they can be placed. Members bring the animals to the Petsmart in Arden every Saturday. TAAG has developed an excellent reputation in the area and therefore receives many calls from individuals asking for assistance in placing an unwanted animal. The members try to assist. Ninety percent of money spent by the organization is spent on the care of the animals.
