Mission: Transplant Alliance serves as Fundraising Stewards for transplant patients and their families by providing Grants and Fundraising Assistance while raising awareness about organ donation. Transplant Alliance Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Founded in 2007 by Mary Jo Lovely, a donor family and a two-time transplant recipient, in hopes of giving back to a community that she came to love. Mary had the innate ability to connect with others and care for them on a deeper level than most. It’s through her connections within the community that she’s learned of the financial need many have. It was always her hope to provide funding to everyone that needed financial assistance while waiting for or are healing from their own transplant. We have aligned ourselves with Help Hope Live another non-profit that has a similar mission and goals. They were established in 1983 and have help thousands of people raise millions of dollars for out of pocket expenses, including medications, durable medical equipment, home health care, wheelchair-accessibility modifications, physical therapy, innovative treatments, medical travel and temporary relocation, even emergency living assistance.
Results: We have donated over $100,000 for transplant related expenses
Target demographics: Those that are waiting for an organ transplant, healing from a transplant or donated a family member's organs.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We have donated over $100,000 to those in need.
Geographic areas served: Transplant Alliance serves as Fundraising Stewards for transplant patients and their families by providing Grants and Fundraising Assistance while raising awareness about organ donation.
Programs: Using our Mary Jo Lovely Memorial Fund, we grant funds to help pay transplant related expenses including living expenses. We help donor families with almost any issue they need help with.
