Mission: Our mission is to catalyze a holistic gospel movement in the bay area that results in spiritual and societal transformation. Spiritual transformation is the result of an increasing number of people loving god with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength; societal transformation is the result of an increasing number of people loving their neighbor as themselves.

Programs: In fiscal year 2016-2017, tbc made significant progress in its unify, multiply, and amplify initiatives as follows: the four large group gatherings included audiences of over 3,000 people and the 32 mid-size theme-based group gatherings included several thought and faith leaders from the bay area. Tbc board activity: quarterly meetings with tbc cabinet; quarterly email updates advisory board: two jeffersonian dinner gatherings; 1-1 meetings with each member unify - pastors networks successfully launched pastor's unity groups in the south valley, lower peninsula, marin, sonoma, central east bay (castro valley, hayward, san leandro), and the tri-valley. Launched the bay area asian american pastors network formed the latino pastors network leadership team formed the indian pastors network leadership team formed the african nations pastors network leadership team hosted two leadership equipping events for pastors in the east bay and the peninsula unify - faith & work established tbc's faith & work brand called lifework formed the lifework leadership team hosted the lifework pastors/business leaders golf event hosted the lifework "dinner talks" in sf hosted the lifework "dinner talks" in sj filmed two lifework interviews with kevin compton and aaron vogel multiply - hosted multiple collaborative lunches with church planters hosted the planting organization collaborative meeting hosted the exponential bay area gathering service on the governing board of centerset church (church plant in sj) service on the governing board of bay city church (church plant in sf) amplify - the amplify initiative has established 5 collaborative cohorts with cross domain leadership spanning from government officials to non profit organizations. The emphasis in these groups have been around homeless veterans in santa cruz county, homeless youth in san francisco, foster care youth in santa clara, and a bay area strategy around school partnerships with churches, businesses, and private schools. Tbc has in all consulted with 25 organizations this year on a wide range of topics including grant writing, strategy, scale planning, board configuration, accounting, and volunteer retention.
