I volunteered in going to Ghana for this mission, it was a blessing and good will to the communities we visited. The chiefs, community leaders, and families very surprised and thankful to the organization and the gifts given. Seeing the joy and happiness the kids had for the books and lights for studies was amazing. They asked us to return again.

I have been volunteering for Trans-Atlantic Environmental for many years now and I find the organization to be one worthy of support. They take solar light to poor villages in Ghana to help children get education and hope. They also give books and other things to help them and their community. I was surprised to learn that the President had been using his own money for many years to do this. I am happy to know that he is now asking for your support to continue to do this. I love this organization and I thank God for the work they are doing in Ghana. I hope one day, they will come to my village in India as well.

The work is too important. The need is too great. Lights of non-flammable and non toxic, is a grave issue.
I know that the lights are not only to learn but save lives from fire and toxic gases from Kerosene.

As a volunteer supporting this mission organization, I have found it to be a breath of fresh air because it is genuine and transparent. We can see what is being done and how the finances are being spent to meet the objective. I find it to be exciting to know I have a part in providing something so simple as lighting. We take lighting for granted in America whereas in places like Africa is a rare and needful resource. A resource that allows children to go to school; mothers to prepare meals; visibility to see in the darkness any danger that may be lurking, even to the visibility of allowing a child to be born. What a joy to provide something that is so common in America - a light in every room, even street lights. Therefore, I am grateful to help provide a small amount of solar light to those who have nothing.

In short, Trans Atlantic Environmental Inc - Light The World Mission does exactly what its names says. It endeavors to provide safe lighting for the Continent of Africa, presently in Ghana, reducing unnecessary deaths due to contaminated lanterns that causes breathing problems including cancer. With solar lighting, this mission ministry enables children to go to school and be successful because they have the lighting needed in order to study. Sitting in a smoke-filled room with a lantern burning bad oil does not allow this opportunity to them. The leadership of this organization is filled with integrity and the monies go to its target areas. There is accountability and the financial health of this organization is beginning to grow. But, if an organization starts out right, it is highly probable that it will continue to be right and so far, this organization hits the mark. Shining a bright light in a very dark world.....

Trans-Atlantic Environmental, Inc - Light the World serves as a shining example of a non-profit organization with selfless leadership fully committed to the goal of serving the rural communities in Ghana that suffer from lack of electricity and are unable to access the benefits of modern lighting systems. The solar desk lamps it distributes far and wide to these underprivileged populations provides the much needed safe technology, environmentally friendly source of light to dispel the darkness so that they can remain productive in their essential daily living activities after the sun goes down. No longer do they have to breathe the toxic fumes of kerosene and suffer the high risk of fires. The educational materials that are also provided bring hope of future advancement by promoting education. Most importantly, the organization shares the saving light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these beloved souls, that they may receive the gift of salvation and experience God's love. Truly a non-profit group that deserves your help and support!

The Trans Atlantic Environmental Inc. - Light the World exists to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged in Africa. Starting from Ghana West Africa, it has brought joy and hopes to many families. Trans Atlantic Inc. has invested in educating children from low-income families through sponsorship. They continue to bring the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to many. To the relief, from Kerosene dependency for view, Trans Atlantic Inc, provides solar lights to the people. These solar lights help students to read and do their homework at night. Solar lights reduce air pollution and eliminate respiratory diseases, snake bites, etc. in the lives of the people.

The Trans-Atlantic Environmental Inc - Light the World is a wonderful non-profit organization that puts it's money where intended - to bring solar lights to the children in Ghana to aid in their education. Often times villages in Ghana have no electricity and are dependent on kerosene lamps for them to study. Not only does this provide a health issue (fumes from kerosene), but also a safety hazard to the entire family. Trans-Atlantic Environmental - Light the World CEO travels to Ghana every 6 months to bring lights to the village children, along with the true light of the world, Jesus, through the Gospel. If you have a heart for children, the environment, and most importantly the souls of every human, this is a non-profit you need to donate and support.
