We absolutely love Tranquility Trail! My daughters have attended their summer camp and are now part of their Books and Bunnies reading program. They are such great programs! My kids talk about and look forward to camp all year long! And now, they can't wait for their next reading day with the bunnies. The time and attention to detail this organization puts into everything they do never ceases to amaze me. Such kind, patient and dedicated staff and volunteers. Not only do they truly care about every bunny, they care about helping children and families. The programs they have for children are incredible. Thank you for giving my family such a magical place to spend quality time!
What a great place! Took my kids here on the recommendation of a friend. They absolutely loved it. Kudos to the staff and volunteers for being so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to answer all the questions my kids had and were so patient. The level of care and the atmosphere are top notch. Really impressed with everyone and everything about this organization. Very professionally run and super kid friendly. Thanks for a great experience for my kids! We will definitely visit again.
My daughter has attended camp here for the past 3 years. She talks about it all year! She has learned so much about caring for animals and about giving back to her community. The staff is incredible! The feeling of love and peace exudes from this sanctuary you moment you walk in. Thank you for giving my daughter such a special place to spend her summer!
Love this sanctuary! The volunteers are always willing to help with any questions I have regarding my bunny. They are truly there to help with anything people need to keep their bunnies happy and healthy. I have learned so much from them and my bunny is so much happier because of what I have learned from them! The care they take of their sanctuary bunnies is top notch! Thank you for all you do!
I think Tranquility Trail is one of the most amazing and dedicated rescues there are. Kelly is so awesome and does so much to help the animals and is a kind, loving dedicated woman who goes out of her way to be helpful to others.
We adopted a wonderful rabbit named Rosie who came from a giant rescue of dumped bunnies that TTAS was involved with. I forgot how many bunnies they rescued who were dumped, but there were so many.
Kelly flew our newly adopted rabbit to us all the way to Sacramento. It was love a first sight for me, my husband and my mother when we met our “Rosie,”and for our little rabbit who we also rescued named “my little star” who both fell in love with each other,
Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary is an incredible organization and I certainly wish we were closer to them so I could also help and volunteer at this wonderful organization. And their store is awesome ❤️ Rosie is on the right ❤️ Star is the little black bunny.
I enjoy being a volunteer at Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary. The rescue is top notch & all the animals at the sanctuary are well loved & receive excellent care. The staff is so knowledgeable & treat everybody with respect. I've learned so much about proper care for animals from them. I wish all rescues were held to same standards as Tranquility Trail. I was fortunate to adopt a Beau & Caitie, bonded pair of rabbits, which has forever changed my life for the better. I get all my rabbit supplies from them as they have the best store for rabbits. I Love this place & cannot say enough good things about them.
I got my first rabbit 2 years ago and he stole my heart! I started searching for best ways to care for him and crossed paths with Tranquility Trail. I found their website and social media is very informative and became a proud sponsor Mom to one of their bunnies. I loved the pictures and updates they would send me, so I decided to go and visit. I was immediately impressed by the people and the Sanctuary. Each bunny is loved and well cared for and lives in a wonderful environment. The people there are kind hearted and knowledgeable. Its a wonderful place that rescues, rehabilitates, adopts, provides support and educates and more! I'm very proud to be a volunteer there.
We recently adopted a female rabbit from Tranquility trail, but to make sure we got one that would go with our family they made suggestions based on the information we provided. Now, weeks later our new bunny is doing great and is a joy to have. The staff and the director kelly Ames was very helpful in out quest. She is an excellent resource for anyone needing information about bunnies and geeks quite a variety of health food, and treats for her customers.
I have been a volunteer with Tranquility Trail for several years and have seen many times how they have stood up to businesses that are cruel to animals, and are a beacon of truth behind the cruelty and problems breeders create in dumping domestic rabbits outdoors when they are not sold by Easter. In Arizona domestic bunnies die a painful death in the heat, or at the paws and teeth of domestic dogs, and coyotes . Tranquility also helps families learn more about rabbits and what makes a good home for bunnies. They will remain excellent coaches for all families with bunnies with educational handouts, and advice.
I have been coming to this "sanctuary" for many years. Kelly and staff are wonderful and always willing to answer questions. They are great in fund-raising. I am amazed at the fund-raising projects that they have and always to benefit the bunnies and their care. It is very easy to donate to this organization when you see firsthand where your monies are going. The bunnies are healthy and happy. And, the sanctuary is so peaceful...a real pleasure for not only the bunnies but for those volunteering or visiting. And, the added boutique is such a treat. An organization that has lots of love.
When I visited my friends in Arizona a few winters back, one of the things I was most excited about was getting to visit Tranquility Trail. It was even more magical than I envisioned! I wish that every bunny in the world could be cared for like those at Tranquility Trail. I have personally benefited because my friend and bunny mentor Tammy learned her bunny care skills there, and then she has imparted them to me. Kelly and the volunteers we met were so welcoming. Tranquility Trail honors rabbits like no other place. So worthy are they of recognition!
This is an amazing organization! In addition to being a top notch rescue, they take time to educate the public about how to care for rabbits, and about what being a responsible rabbit owner means. They always welcome the opportunity to educate, and my family and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences inside their doors. It's amazing for kids to truly understand and appreciate animals from a young age, and this organization does an incredible job facilitating that. Thanks for all you do!
We love the work that this rescue is doing to teach the community about the proper care of bunnies! We can't wait until our little one is old enough to be an official volunteer and bunny advocate!
I was first introduced to Tranquility Trail when I worked in public affairs at PetSmart Corporate. We chose to sponsor this organization because of the amazing work they do- not only rescuing and providing sanctuary to domestic rabbits (the third most surrendered domestic pet) but having an equal commitment to educating people of all ages on making responsible pet choices and giving back to the community through volunteering. More than 8 years later, I continue to support Tranquility Trail through volunteering and monetary donations. They are an amazing organization- well-run, professional and compassionate.
I have worked Tranquility Trail as a corporate sponsor of the Holiday Pet Festival as well as a volunteer. The Sanctuary is a well-run organization that not only provides sanctuary to domestic rabbits but also educates people of all ages on the importance making responsible choices when adding a pet to the family and giving back through volunteering and donating.
Tranquility Trail is a supreme example of what animal rescue is all about. They have taken in so many sick and homeless rabbits over many years, provide them with the best accommodations and healthcare and the rabbits get to live in a clean, caring, stimulating environment with daily interactions with volunteers, visitors and staff until they find a forever home. Tranquility Trail has summer camp for kids that concentrates on humane education and bunny care, so that children can learn compassion for all living things at a young age. Everything I know about rabbits and animal rescue, I learned from Tranquility Trail and for that I am grateful! It is a wonderful place with a wonderful message to share.
The most incredible shelter we have ever visited! The volunteers is so friendly and helpful. The shelter is so clean and the rabbits are really happy! It brightens my day every time I visit Tranquility Trail. It is truly an experience that will touch your heart and change your views on what shelters can be.
Therapist and business developer for specialty programs and protocols for cancer patients creating continuity of care Would love to help in the animal world as well locally in my north scottsdale area
I have volunteered at Tranquility Trail for over six years and I have never seen people who love and care more for animals. They treat every single animal as an individual and do all they can to help animals outside of the sanctuary as well. I have adopted three rabbits from the sanctuary and they have been the best parts of my life.
TTAS is an innovative approach to animal rescue- specifically underserved animals. The entire, sizeable population is treated like they are in a home with people who love and care for them. They each have pens, not cages and every animal ( rabbits at this point) get a daily exercise time in a large area.
We adopted our beloved rabbit Radar through them. He had been deserted in an abandoned apartment. He was ill and disabled. They went more than the extra mile to save him, meet his medical needs, nurture and love him, and let us be his forever family. At one point he was near death- they came that night to hold and love him- thinking it was good-bye, but he suddenly rallied back. Although, partially blind and nearly deaf, he never realized he was compromised in any way- he lived with us as a happy, sweet, active, loving bunny- doing everything our other "able bodied" bunnies had done.
What an amazing place TTAS is- standing out in the animal loving community.
Tranquility Trails is one of the most passionate groups of individuals I have ever had the pleasure to work with. From the first moment you walk in the door you can feel the energy and passion that goes into taking care of these vulnerable animals. TTAS is easily the most welcoming and uplifting shelter I have ever been in and their team of employees and volunteers are the best of the best.
The individuals running Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary are doing so from the very bottom of their hearts and souls. Not only do they care for and re-home rabbits in great need, they are a model in the Greater Phoenix community in educating for the awareness and responsible care of rabbits. In addition, the very trusted staff is loving, professional and diligent in their rabbit babysitting service.
This is Dani, she is one of my favorite bunnies I spend time with when I visit TTAS!
I left my bonded pair in Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary's bunny sitting care where they were superbly treated. I highly recommend this reliable staff's services!
Tranquility Trail is unlike any other animal shelter in the area. It is peaceful and extremely clean. The bunnies are well taken care of while waiting for a forever home. Volunteers of all ages are welcome here. Come visit and see for yourself.
I have been a volunteer at Tranquility Trail for over three years now and it is unlike any animal "shelter" location you will ever experience. It is called a sanctuary and one visit there will remind you why. The bunnies are given a chance to enjoy life while awaiting the right match human to take them home. The co founders are tireless supporters of animal rescue nationwide and operate their facility 365 days a year and many times 24 hours a day. It is the only place that allows young people to volunteer so that they can be educated on pet care and also spend quality family time with their families. Even if you are not in the market for a bunny, go there just to visit the sanctuary or resale shop - you will be glad you did.
Tranquility Trail is a wonderful sanctuary for the bunnies! I was so impressed at the level of care and comfort afforded to each of their bunnies. Their level of dedication and commitment is second to none. The sanctuary is neat and tidy, and very peaceful. In addition to the sanctuary, Tranquility Trail is a caring community partner, organizing and hosting the annual Holiday Pet Festival, Arizona's largest holiday pet related event, where rescue groups, vendors, and the general public come together for a day of adoption, shopping, education and fun, all to benefit the animals!
I used to work with Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary through my former employer and volunteering! Being a bunny parent myself, this organization is dear to my heart! I adore what they do for not only bunny's but for all pets in need!
Tranquility Trail is an amazing sanctuary! They do amazing work to rehabilitate rabbits, educate the public, and advocate for the compassionate treatment of animals.
We have two rabbits that we adopted from Tranquility Trail, and we have been volunteering here since before they opened to the public, having known the Co-Founders through the pet supplies store they run. 100% of all the proceeds from that store, as well as the attached resale store, go to support the bunnies at Tranquility Trail! The environment is cheery, with brightly painted walls, gentle music, friendly people, and playing bunnies. Every effort is made to educate people about rabbits and how to properly care for them, which is something that is sorely needed after decades of misinformation. Volunteers of all ages are welcome here, and there are often scout troops and school groups that come in to help care for the rabbits and learn about them. The people at Tranquility Trail also support animal rescue, in general, and organize the largest pet-related holiday event in the country--the Holiday Pet Festival at Westworld of Scottsdale--to help spread awareness of animal rescue, and lots of pets get adopted at that event. I really can't say enough great things about this place!
Tranquility Trail is so many wonderful, positive things. They are an advocate and a voice for rescued bunnies and they are a teacher, leader and epitome of the goodness in people. Tranquility Trail overcomes challenges and obstacles without ever losing focus on their mission. I have known them since their inception and adore all of the amazing things they've done for the bunnies and the community. They are true to the bunnies they rescue, the donors, the volunteers, to anyone who has ever stepped foot in the sanctuary or visited their Facebook page. I love this rescue, what they stand for and who they are.
I have know Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary since they opened. This is a rescue that exemplifies compassion, community involvement and education for the greater good. The organizers are selfless and it's no wonder they have a continuing growing and loyal following. They do an amazing job caring for abandoned rabbits and educating the public. Tranquility Trail brings people and communities together.
Tranquility Trail is simply the best. Very compassionate care for rescued rabbits. Spotless clean and happy environment. The bunnysitting is top notch. The store sells all kinds of wonderful treasures and the sales go to supporting the bunnies. They have many community outreach programs and volunteer opportunities. We LOVE them!
We just love Tranquility Trail! This rescue should be the model that all other rescues seek to copy! Enter their doors and sniff, you would never know that animals lived there. You smell fresh hay, you hear soft music, and you see an atmosphere of love and compassion. We feel peaceful just walking around and visiting all of the happy, extremely well cared for rabbits. Each one is housed in a comfortable large pen, no little closed in cages for their bunnies. Litter boxes are cleaned and refreshed daily. The bunnies have plenty of food, salads, hay, and toys. They are each, in turn, given handling and play time on a comfortable couch. My rabbits visit occasionally to be bunnysat (boarded) when we need to go away, and they always follow my instructions for them to a T. I know I leave them in the best of hands. They have a Bunny Basics store dedicated to all things rabbit, where we buy our hay, litter, and supplies. They also have a thrift shop that all proceeds go to the rabbits needs. Adoptions are a careful, thoughtful process. They are dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for their little charges. This is an honest, trustworthy, and exceptional rescue organization!
Best shelter we have ever visited! The level of care provided is incredible. The volunteers are so friendly and happy to answer any questions. Wish more shelters were like this one! Such happy bunnies!
Wonderful and peaceful to visit, Kelly and staff are inviting and supportive. This place is wonderful to visit and a mission worth supporting even just for the caliber of people here. Thanks Tranquility!
I recently visited Tranquility Trail and was truly amazed at what a great sanctuary it was. The bunnies are all well cared for with remarkable living conditions , treats and a lot of love! They truly love the bunnies and it shows!!!
I came across this amazing organization with my volunteer group. What a group of angels! Kelly has a true love and understanding for these cute and sweet creatures. She look the time to teach us what bunnies really need and how to make them lead healthy and happy lives. The facility has a calm, serene atmospher, one that makes you just want to stay and hang with the bunnies. I'm so glad I found this amazing place, I intend to help them out as much as I can.
I am from NJ, so I came upon this shelter doing some online shopping for my house bunnies. When I do class in AZ, I had the pleasure of visiting, shopping at their bun store & playing with the bunnies. As funny as a compliment it may seem, it is the one shelter that I have walked into where I do NOT feel the need to take them all home. They are SOOO well taken care of and they have such a great set up and routine for their care. They also have lots of great volunteers, bunny camp, fundraisers and do a fabulous job on educating the public on bunny care. If I were closer, I would certainly adopt from them in a heartbeat. We are very blessed in the "bunny community" that Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary exists.
Tranquility Trail is an amazing sanctuary that rescues rabbits and gives them proper medical care and a loving home until they find their forever home. They also educate the public on the proper way to care for a rabbit and offer assistance in any way they can.
Time and time again, I have been incredibly impressed with the kind people that run this sanctuary of peace. The name of this organization says it all. The animals that get to call Tranquility Trail their safe haven are some of the luckiest ever. One of the main reasons is that this sanctuary takes into full consideration the individual personality and individual needs of each and every animal in its care. Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary should be considered a model for how responsible and genuine sanctuaries should be run.
The sanctuary is maintained by the most thoughtful, compassionate group of people you could ever meet. They fill a special niche in the Phoenix community for homeless domestic rabbits. They share their knowledge of rabbit health with anyone who inquires. They provide a children's camp teaching compassion and bunny care. I cannot imagine a more deserving organization.
I love Tranquility trail! The care of the animals at the sanctuary is top notch. All bunnies have x-pen habitats and no cages. They have toys and are rotated out into large play areas throughout the day. This is because their emotional health is just as important to the staff and volunteers at TTAS as their physical health. All are spayed or neutered as soon as they are old enough. EVERY single day of the year they are provided clean fleece bedding, fresh hay, clean water and new litter. They are also given plenty of greens and occasional treats. These animals are truly loved and it shows. I am proud to be a volunteer here.
I have been a volunteer at Tranquility Trail for over a year now. All bunnies get a clean enclosure which includes a clean litter box EVERY SINGLE DAY. Yes this means Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year ect... It is the cleanest, calmest animal enviroment I have ever seen. Even the bunnies that never find their way to a forever home know nothing but peace and love at the sanctuary. I hope to be a part of the Tranquility family for as long as I can.
I follow TTAS on FB from Christchurch, NZ as I love all the work they do with these bunnies and as a bunny mommy myself, I get to learn a lot from this Sanctuary ❤
Tranquility Trail is an incredible rescue. I have never found a group of people that cares more about animals. The rabbits are incredibly well taken care of. Every rabbit room is cleaned every single day and the sanctuary itself is immaculate. It is so open and welcoming especially to children. Kids, teens, and adults alike all delight in the rabbits. This sanctuary is groundbreaking for animal care and for human compassion as well.
My granddaughter has attended Tranquility Trail's summer camp for the past 3 years. It is her favorite camp of all the different camps she has attended! She has learned so much and has a ball every year! I am proud to be a donor to this incredible sanctuary!
I have been a volunteer and donor for 5 years. I can't say enough great things about this organization! They truly go above and beyond for all the animals in their care and for their volunteers and donors! If I ever win the lottery, Tranquility Trail will be first in line for a huge donation! They are incredible and should be a model for all sanctuaries. Truly loving and caring people!
Tranquility Trail is the best animal shelter I have ever been too! The shelter is so clean and all the bunnies are so happy. I love volunteering at a place that really pays attention to the every need of the animals. I love Tranquility Trail!
Tranquility Trail is the most amazing organization my family has ever volunteered for! The kindness and compassion is felt the minute you walk in the door. My children adore this place! They have learned so much by volunteering here for the past 3 years. Tranquility Trail has taught them giving back to the community can be fun and so rewarding! I tell everyone I know to visit this fantastic sanctuary! Definitely 5 stars!!
The rescue presents itself to be very friendly. The Sanctuary is very clean, peaceful for the bunnies, nice music and a great concept . Proceed with caution especially with young children.
I took my granddaughter there for her " first" school service project and introduction to volunteering .She chose the bunny sanctuary and was excited about volunteering.
We attended the orientation and proceeded to sign up for the hours she needed .
On our last visit there, while my granddaughter was doing her duties, I happened to asked ONE question to a volunteer (Denise) and was
chastised for not remembering "what was told in orientation". (excuse me) She even went to the pens after my granddaughter had completed cleaning them and proceeded looking for mistakes. She would then go and "tattle" to the co-owner/volunteer (Kelly). Not once did she discuss what she perceived to be wrong in the cleaning, but displayed at attitude of "I'm going to get you". I felt that it is the expectation of the Sanctuary that you should not forget "every single word" said in orientation because if you do...you will be criticized if you ask a question or happen to forget a step in the process.
At the end of our 1 1/2 hour service I was looking at the calendar for a time to come back and complete my granddaughter's service hour she had left. It was then that Kelly confronted us with Denise's report. This was full of criticism delivered in a very condescending way.. Contempt is the word that comes to mind. I did not appreciate the treatment nor the delivery style.
She informed us we could not come back to complete my granddaughters remaining 1 hour of service because I asked a question and supposedly made a mistake! My granddaughter did fine, but she too must get punished and not return!
A volunteer organization should encourage and nurture young volunteers and not make the first attempt of community service negative and a bitter
experience. Outside of the mandatory orientation, questions should be welcomed and encouraged, not be punitive. This would have made it a very positive experience.
I have volunteered for several organizations and have been a member of many Boards. Never in my professional or personal life have I had such a horrific experience.
The word is out to pass on the opportunity to volunteer at the Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary.
There are many organizations that would love to make the first experience for a young volunteer one that will be positive and encourage further community service.
The friendliest most caring people I've met. The animals are happy and perfectly taken care of. I've enjoyed years of visiting the rabbits and people of this fine organization. Kelly will spend hours talking with anyone who wants to learn about the proper care of rabbits. I'm so happy to have them in my life.
What an amazing and caring group of people. I fell in love with done of their bunnies. I can not adopt at this time but it is so nice to know that they are well taken care of. The building is clean with plenty of space and all of the animals get plenty of socialization and exercise. They also get medical treatment whenever necessary. I hope to live a life so good!
Its amazing. They show pictures of their building and its just clean and amazing.
I visited with my niece and nephew in May and was very impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the facility. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly and helpful! I purchased several items for my own rabbit that I adopted at another non profit. I would absolutely consider adopting from this one now that I know about it! Would also consider fostering in the future!
My name is Destiny. Over four years ago, I was living in the backyard of the home of a well-meaning but uneducated-in-the-needs-of-rabbits person. She thought there were around 30-40 of us in her yard but there were actually over 100! This person contacted many rescues for help but Kelly and her partner, Rick, were the only ones to come to save me and my fellow bunnies. Even though they hadn't been in business very long, they were able to rally their volunteers to bring our huge group into their sanctuary and into their hearts. Many of us had extremely serious health issues but Kelly and her helpers made sure that we got great veterinary care including spaying & neutering and for the first time in our lives we were eating the proper food and were truly safe and happy! Now I am in a Forever Home where my parents love and spoil me and I even have a hus-bun, Chance, another TTAS alumnus. We have been back to TT a few times where Kelly and her helpers have given us amazing care while my parents had to be out of town. The Sanctuary is a very peaceful, happy place and when Kelly walks thru the aisles and speaks to my bunny compatriots, many of them do happy dances at the sound of her voice! Tranquility Trail is truly an exceptional place. Kelly sets the tone and all of the volunteers and adoptive parents want to be like her. She is gentle, knowledgeable, kind and patient with everybody & everybunny. Tranquility Trail is THE BEST SANCTUARY IN THE WORLD because of the love, dedication, kindness and commitment to education upon which it was founded.
Tranquility Trail is by far the best animal rescue I have ever been too. They are very kind and caring people that truly care about the bunnies welfare not just finding them any old home but the best home for the rabbit and the people wanting to adopt the bunny. I have two of the sweetest girls from there that I love so much. Every time I go there to get there nails trimmed and hair done I visit all the bunnies I can while I am there and they are all happy and healthy. Kelly is one of the sweetest people I know and so helpful. Love this place would stay there all day petting bunnies If I could, and if I lived closer would volunteer everyday.
I have been to Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary several times they are so kind and caring to all the bunnies, they make sure there runs are clean and neat fresh hay and water the rabbits all have play time in 4 different areas with different things to play on to stimulate there minds so they are not board. I have adopted 2 from there and sponsor one. Rabbits are very good pets litter trained and quiet, very loving lil creatures. Out of all the recuse places I have been too this one is the best. I can't say enough good things about the people there. They have so many wonderful volunteers there that help with cleaning and play time. In the summer they have a wonderful summer camp that teaches campers about bunnies and there care and how to handle bunnies the right way. so they not only save rabbits they teach and inform the public when ever they can on the proper care of rabbits.
I have yet to have the honor of visiting Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary but I have followed them on Facebook for some time and made little donations when and where I could. Before I started following them I was very uneducated about Bunnies!! Which was sad because I was one of those people who thought it would be a cute surprise for my daughter to get one. I knew work and care was involved, you don't just put them in a cage and walk away...but I never knew as much as I do now. Some time later my daughter's interest change and during this time I learned I had allergies to her fur and the hay, etc. But I brought this Bunny into our home and I wasn't about to just turn it away. So the Bunny became mine and now, I couldn't imagine my life without her!! And the people at TTAS are the most friendly people I've come across in some time!! Always willing to give advice, educate you a bit, answer questions... You can just feel the care and love they have for these Bunnies in everything they do!!!
After receiving several wonderful Facebook posts from Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary I was moved to sponsor one of their rescue bunnies at Binkytown. It has been an awesome experience to partner with this wonderful organization as they shower love and extraordinary care on these abandoned, abused, and often sick, rabbits. They do such a wonderful job of communicating and sharing that even though I live too far away to volunteer I still feel very much a part of the team effort to love these needy bunnies. There is a kindness and a comeraderie that extends out beyond the walls of Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary, and I am truly getting back much more than I am giving.
I have volunteered at this shelter for over a year and find it to be one of the greatest facilities I have worked in. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The bunnies are very spoiled and well taken care of and have great areas to play in with soft music playing in the background. They have sitting areas where you can sit with any rabbit of your choice and enjoy couch time. Kelly is a very knowledgeable person who continues to educate me more and more each I am there.

I had been following Tranquility Trail on Facebook for some time and finally had the opportunity to visit them this past April. Kelly and all of the wonderful volunteers who keep this incredible place running, couldn't have been nicer. The amount of work these people do is staggering, and the incredible love and care they provide these bunnies is very apparent after a few moments. All I can say is I was honored to have been able to visit and will continue to support you and will always be a sponsor mom to a bun in need.
I have never met such wonderful people as the staff at this bunny sanctuary. They do so much for the bunnies and for their volunteers...I now live 2000 miles away, but continue to follow this fantastic shelter.
I found Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary on Facebook as a family member lives in their area and brings her children there to volunteer. Once I started to follow their postings, I saw the daily effort put forth by the volunteers to not only keep the buns happy and cared for but to share photos with us who are not in the area! I look forward to their daily updates and have decided to sponsor a bun in their sanctuary. I love how they are involved with the community, have children come in to learn and care for the buns and that they even offer a camp during the summer! Happy to donate to a non profit as amazing as TTAS; they genuinely have the buns best interest in mind at all times!
Tranquility Trail is an amazing place. Everyone there truly cares for not only the animals at the sanctuary, but all animals. As a volunteer of four years, I can honestly say there is nothing like this sanctuary and nothing even compares.
What more needs be said regarding this excellent rescue.... Kelly the operator of this rescue has proven time and time again that she really loves the buns..... She works tirelessly to take care of the bunnies and the clients... It's not a simple buy a rabbit sanctuary... there is a foster to adopt program where a client has to foster the bun/buns to make sure they really want a bunny as a pet.... the information provided to prospective owners is complete and so good.... My best friend and I have adopted two wonderful bunnies from TTAS and the staff was there for us no matter the concern giving friendly and timely advice... We are both proud to sponsor a bunny each... If I had more $ I would definitely sponsor more buns.... We drive more than 100 miles just to get our buns nails trimmed and for Smokey to get a haircut... TTAS does this for FREE.... The bunnies are all in an at least 4 foot by 4 foot enclosure with food daily litter cleanings... I have never seen a rescue this clean.... the soft music in the background fosters in visitors a calming effect that just makes the whole rescue seem magical... I love to visit with the buns for snuggles... again the best rescue I have ever seen bar none.... This rescue has sponsors world-wide as a testament to the quality of care.... Hats off to Kelly and all the staff that work tirelessly to keep these bunnies in a safe, happy, calm, and loving environment... Just love this place.
I have been volunteering at Tranquility Trail for over three years now. It is an amazing sanctuary for domestic bunnies. The name totally fits as you cannot help but feel a sense of tranquility, calm and love when you go there. Kelly Ames is the hardworking director that literally spends every waking moment following her passion for the bunnies and all animals. This is a no kill shelter and the bunnies don't live in tiny cages. It is an amazing place that does incredible work educating people about animals, especially rabbits. I have worked with other rescues but this one, by far, is one of the best!
I love Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary. I went there with Animal Advocates of Arizona to volunteer for a couple of hours. I never would have expected what I got out of my experience. The name says it all- Sanctuary! When I walked in the front door for the first time, I felt a sense of peace and comfort. There was classical music being played for the bunnies and the smell of fresh hay. Each bunny has their own home or share a home with another. You can tell that each bunny is cared for and is happy. I never knew that bunnies could respond to their name being called. They feel emotion and show it. Each bunny has their own personality. I have bonded with a bunny named Frodo and he brings me so much happiness and love. I enjoy the times I spend cleaning his home and spending one to one time together. These bunnies have come from some terrible situations and deserve a happy life. I feel that they have that here at the sanctuary as they wait for their forever home. They are all an inspiration to me. : )
We are in the process of adopting a pair of bunnies from Tranquility Trail and I am so happy we found them. They have provided us with a lot of education about the bunnies needs. The bunnies at Tranquility Trail are well cared for and very loved. We plan to start volunteering to help out the bunnies we can't bring home.
This is a fantastic organization! They do an extraordinary job with the buns they have in the sanctuary, creating as close to a home environment for the homeless as possible! They also do a great job with educational programs to further current bunny owners' education as well as educating the general public about bunny ownership and commitment!
My daughter attended bunny camp recently at Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary. This is a peaceful, clean wonderful place. All the bunnies are loved and looked after. We hope to be adopting and volunteering soon.
I came across Tranquilly Trail Animal Sanctuary from a Facebook post by a local Rabbit Rescue I support in Vancouver Canada. The level of care and housing for the rabbits is evident from the open and transparent engagement the rescue maintains through their Facebook page. These buns are paired with a buddy and have a decent size enclosure space with care and love from the staff and volunteers being obvious. Tranquilly Trail continuously engages donors and communicates with us, suggesting help the bunnies need and showing us photos of sponsor buns with care packages when they arrive. They are wonderful!
The first time when I went at Tranquility Trail was like to enter in a beautiful, peaceful place, where each bunny is loved and happy. I adopt my gorgeous Apollo 2 months later. He is a wonderful soul. I am so happy. The people at the Tranquility Trail are very competent and kind. They take care very well for all the bunnies. Each bunny is loved and lives in a wonderful, safe place.
Thank you for all your work and thanks to give me the chance to adopt this beautiful bunny.
The hundreds of Bunnies Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary has help is staggering. They have also persued and affected changes in State Law with regards to Animal Rights and Anti-Cruelty Statures in Arizona. One of the Amazing aspects of Tranquility Trail is that the Director, Kelly Ames knows, understands, and appreciates each and every bunny's different personalities. It is amazing to witness!
If I were rich I give Tranquility Trails a blank check so financial restrictions would not be an obstacle or concern.
They helped my wife and I greatly after the passing of our first bunny Dolly. The Director (Kelly) knows each and every single bunny's personality. She quickly knew which bunny would be a good match for our other bunny Wilson who was sad that Dolly had passed. After meeting Wilson and observing him Kelly introduced us to Olivia and it was a great match! A few months after Olivia was home with us Olivia became ill and Kelly was a huge resource and support to us and Olivia soon became well! My wife enjoys volunteering at Tranquility Trail when she has vacation time from work. Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary is a first class Organization that NEVER gives up a single bunny regardless of behavior or health
I first discovered Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary through Facebook. I noticed they had an album of bunnies that needed a sponsor. Looking through the pictures I immediately fell in love with Snowblaze and knew I had to sponsor him. I have been sponsoring him ever since and was even able to send him a blankie once, along with letting him pick out treats and toys. The staff always post pictures of him and I get to see him enjoying his gifts and even just taking a nap. I have not been able to visit in person but I know one day I will be able to and I would love to spend a few vacation days just volunteering and getting to help with all the bunnies. They do great work. They take excellent care of all the bunnies and they work on spreading the message of being kind to all animals through educational programs for kids.
After moving from PA to AZ, I found Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary. I had previously adopted many house rabbits through other shelters in PA, MD, and DE. I was immediately impressed with the way their bunnies were housed and cared for. I love this place and have the highest respect for the people that provide care here. No animal lives in a cage!!! They all have their personal pen living space with toys and cheerful fleece blankets to call their own. All the buns are litter box trained. All enjoy soft soothing music daily. And most buns, if possible, are bonded with another bun so as not to have to live a life alone. Tranquility Trails home for buns is only second to these little ones finding their forever home!
Not many people realize that rabbits are the third most surrendered pet.
They have special needs since they are considered prey.
So helping them feel safe and secure is extremely important to their well being and survival.
Most people also don't know that rabbits can be kept just as you would a cat with a few safety precautions for their safety.
They use a litterbox and love to run and play.
They should never be kept in a cage.
Tranquility Trail is the most amazing rabbit rescue I have come across.
Even though they have approximately 100 rabbits in their care they make sure each has it's own space by using exercise pens and each is given toys and their space is not only roomy but cleaned daily.
The care and love that is given here is exceptional by any standard.
They deserve to be noticed for so many reasons.
