Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Amateur Sports, Sports
Mission: Toledo Urban Volleyball Association (TUVA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to train youth athletes in the sport of Volleyball and to Develop, Educate, and Promote volleyball in its underserved, under-represented youth populations. We believe in the development of all athletes in our community. Through TUVA and its club entity UrbanVolley419, we offer training opportunities in the form of clinics, camps, individual and group skill lessons, as well as, league and travel teams for every youth regardless of skill set. Our goal is to develop athletes to be able to compete at a high level. To develop athletes' confidence in themselves and their abilities to be able to walk into any environment, feel comfortable, and compete successfully.
Target demographics: Our focus is underserved, under-represented youth volleyball populations in central city Toledo, Ohio..
