Foster Love has uplifted our agency in so many ways. From their sweet cases, to Socktober, to the unexpected donations throughout the year, and to their Disney Days event, the contribution they have made to children in foster care has been indescribable. Our staff, resource parents, and children in our care have nothing but positive things to say about this organization. Not only does Foster Love provide exceptional programs/events, but they also employ extremely dedicated, helpful, and kind staff. There has not been one negative experience that we have had with their team. All around amazing organization and we are all so thankful that we have had the opportunity to partner with them.

Together We Rise was able to help our non-profit foster care organization prepare for Christmas and give foster children that spark of love for the upcoming holidays.
We truly appreciate Together we rise they have always been so helpful and also reaching out to us when they have supplies for our foster children they truly care.
Our experience has been. absolutely amazing. Our foster care children and family. have benefitted from all the donations foster love has given to ACS The Bikes were used by our young men and women for transportation to school, work and employment (delivery). When our children are removed from their homes due to Substance Abuse, Domestic violence and/or mental health. issues the duffle bags are used to carry their clothing. Your genericity has been greatly applicated.
Smiles and Tears Children and Family Services has an excellent and impeccable experience with Foster Love Organization. We share the same commons on children in need to place an smile in their face when life adversities come into their lives.

I've had two opportunities to Volunteer with TWR; Teen Shopping Spree and the Shein Pop-up Event. I had a great experience at both with the TWR staff, other volunteers, the people we tried to get involved and the children. The Staff has always been nice and helpful and I feel fulfilled helping out. The number of initiatives are so impressive- anyone can get involved.
The work from Together We Rise is inspiring! Their enthusiasm to help kids in foster care is innumerable and it warms my heart knowing there is someone out there looking out for those children in need. Keep up the good work !!

I love this non-profit! I've had the chance to volunteer with them many times, once at their Disney Days event where they reunite siblings in foster care at Disneyland for the day. Love all they are doing.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Together We Rise is a great organization that offers volunteer opportunities for normal people to get involved. They change the way kids experience foster care by replacing trash bags with duffel bags, giving children new bicycles, and providing the largest scholarship in the system.

Together We Rise is a non-profit that supports foster children. What makes TWR different is that it is fueled by the actions of young adults - mostly college age, and some high-school. TWR was started by Danny Mendoza when he was 18-years old - go to their website, www.togetherwerise.org, to hear the story of why he decided to start this charity. These kids (as I call them, although I know they are really adults) find a need, and address it. They don't wait for some big corporate machinery to tell them what they can and can't do. Foster kids need flip flops, towels and beach toys? Done! A group of kids need some soccer skills camps/training? Done! Hundreds of kids in foster homes need bicycles? Danny and his crew buy them and drive around the country helping kids build their bikes. Done! I was a foster child and lived in a children's home in Chino, CA - a home that TWR supported, 40 years after I lived there. I know first-hand what an impact the kindness of strangers can have on a child who has been tossed around the system. A big embarassment? Carrying what few belongs you have in a trash bag - like you yourself are trash. Danny and his team saw a need and started a program called Sweet Cases, where they put together duffel bags for children with some toys, a blankie, a pillow pet - a duffel bag that they can keep and carry their stuff in. No more garbage bags - because these kids are not garbage!
