My family and I ran into financial difficulties due to the changing economy. After exhausting our savings we contacted Together We Cope. They performed a friendly and thorough review of my families situation. They provided food and clothing (winter coats, hats and gloves) for the family. With Christmas approaching, they provided gifts for the family under their Adopt-A-Family program. After all of this, after reviewing my situation they were able to provide financial assistance to pay my Gas, Electric and mortgage payment so I could get back on my feet. Coincidentally, during the interview they gave me a couple of leads for jobs which looks like I will get back to work and on my feet. This has been a terrible time for my family which has been made better because of the kindness of the people at Together We Cope. When I went to them, I was embarassed and worried. I could not understand why they chose the name Together We Cope for their agency, now I understand. Truly with their support "together we (can) cope". I hope they are always there for those of us who need assistance in times of crisis.
